I have used Grass Markers to order 2 headstones for deceased relatives who passed away many years ago. Both arrived as scheduled. One I had shipped to my home, the other I had shipped to a cousin's home because he was going to set the stone in the cemetery for us. Both stones were perfect and the company was very good about responding to my needs and giving me a chance to confirm and make any changes needed before completing the stones. I am now in the process of creating a stone for my sister, her husband recently passed away. I'm sure we will be pleased with this stone as well. For those on a limited budget it is nice to know that a beautiful monument can still be affordable and something that we can be proud to display for our loved ones. I used Grassmarkers.com for a total of 7 flat grave markers. I used standard everything when ordering. I was so impressed with the first 3 that I ordered the last 4 to complete marking the graves of ancestors that had died in the 1920's. I was very happy with all of them. There was a delay in receiving the first three but I received an email regarding the problem and told them there was no hurry. The other 4 were received within 6 weeks. It was a long time dream to get the graves of these ancestors marked and was grateful I found a place with nice stones at an affordable price. I am posting one as an example. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! I thought the price was too good to be true. I ordered a marker for my Mom's grave and it was delivered with 3 major chips to the marble base. I informed the company immediately and sent them photos. They said they would take care of it and I suggested a refund of $300 since it was already installed at the grave yard since we had been waiting a couple of months for it to be made and delivered. I was told it would be no problem. A week later, nothing, I call again, they say it is going on my card as we speak, a week later, nothing, I call and email again and they say that the refund is only $150 with no apologies or remorse that I, the customer, had to spend all this time calling and emailing and had been told on the phone that it would be $300. They were very curt and rude. After more phone calls and emails with no progress re: why this change when weeks earlier they said the refund of $300 was already being processed on my card (lies) I finally located the agent for the LLC that owns the company and contacted him and the main company in India that supplies the stone. Only after this did I get a response from him but he still held firm on the $150. This is not about $150, it's about how poorly customers (grieving customers) are treated by this callous company. Do your self a favor - GO SOMEPLACE ELSE FOR YOUR BUSINESS. Had no idea outside of using the funeral home as to how to order a headstone. I went to a few online sites and chose this one because it was economical and provided many options. I couldn't really find too many reviews on this company outside of the BBB and the website's testimonials, so I went with my gut and ordered. The headstone arrived today, very well packaged and just as ordered. The whole family is extremely pleased with the outcome. And the process itself was very easy. Lost my grandson in an accident. We had nothing ready for such an event. The staff here was AMAZING, they offered my guidance, assisted in making the arrangements for placing the headstone and delivered and set the market exactly the way we wanted it. They saved me almost $2,000.00 compared to the local marker companies in my area and did a great job for my 3 year old little buddy's grave. I couldn't possibly thank them enough. These people care and will go out of their way to help you if you let them. Just please take into account that they are very busy also helping out other people as well, so sometimes it may take a day or two or three for someone to get back with you but they will, you just have to have a little patience and understanding. We ordered a granite 24X12 ground memorial for my husband's grandmother who passed in 1980 and never got one until now. The site made it very easy to select the design which turned out beautiful! The price was amazingly affordable and included shipping which saved us a good deal of money. It was shipped to our home as requested and the cemetery will help us place it. We received notifications as promised as they made the memorial and we received it just a few weeks after placing the order. Very impressive and professional company. I agree with a lot of the negative testimonials. I to had a bad experience with this company that I found over the internet. I ordered a flat marker for my brother in April, had to pay for it in advance. I was told several times it had shipped. Finally, after repeated calls, (which I never received back) I decided to email and got some response. Come to find out it was sitting back in a room and had never been shipped out. It was way later getting here than they promise you. When if finally arrived way later it appeared to look okay was the size I ordered. So l decided to order another one on May 12th with a picture. (Big mistake) What they tell you about the picture for 100.00 isn't worth it. They sent me approvals that display the picture looking great. That isn't true what they didn't tell me is the picture would come to me very black and you can't really tell who the people are on it and the stone wasn't the size the first one was which it should of been. I pd. 257.00 for this next stone and it arrived with the ink running in it, and the picture very black. After repeated emails and after two plus mths. of waiting this is what I received and the box was totally damaged and you could see what was inside the box. For one thing this type of stuff need to be UPS not sent threw mail. I was very unhappy with this stone and they basically told me that nothing could be done about it. I also let them know I would not be buying anything else from them. Had I read these reviews I would not of went to them and I don't live in IND. this place is a joke!!! first off i've been trying to order my mother's memorial here and let me tell you.... these people do not get back to you. i've delt with chea, darla, jennifer, scott, mike. shoot i can name everyone who's worked there. i've been dealing with them since sept. 2016. and i've been getting the run around. i paid $60 so they can communicate with the cemetery where my mother is and they did not i had to call them to remind them every week. it is now november and i'm still waiting. so i've told them to cancel everthing, and requested my $60 dollars back... will see if i get it, have to wait till monday. chea is the manager who doesn't know anything that goes on. jennifer is also one who's answers the phone who is rude as hell, darla was sweet but she never got back to me "ever". scott emailed me and promised me that darla would get back to me. never happened, and mike promised to get back to the cemetery to send them a layout and they never got it. after reading up on this company i think they might be a fraud. i'm letting you know do not deal with this businesses. they couldn't even give me a contact to their accounting department to get my $60 back ill have to contact paypal. they said they would email them and i would have to wait till monday. fraud!!!!!!!!!! fraud!!!!!!!!!!! fraud!!!!!!!!!!! read more

My wife passed 2 years ago & after looking at the Pics on the grave-marker of her next-door neighbor & thought it would be fitting for future generations of our family to see just how beautiful she was. I shopped around and made the mistake of selecting Grassmarkers to memorialize her. While the marker next to her grave has had the photos laser etched into the stone & they were as clear as though they were photos . Sadly one can hardly make out weather my wife's pic is a person or a pet. My complaints to the phone answer seemed to fall on deaf ears & professions that it would be taken care never materialized. I would recommend that if you really loved the person that passed, do not use Grassmarkers. I.'m sure that there are many reputable companies they will stand behind their product. The very poor communications should have warned me to keep shopping. Now I am embarrassed by my poor judgement every time I visit her. If i was able to. I would rate this second class company below one star if I could!
