He asked for half for the deposit in the estimate so that he could get materials. I had had him replace part of the fence a couple years ago and working with him went fine, so I trusted him and paid him the deposit. This was very wrong. Ed has repeatedly blown me off when trying to schedule and will not return texts, voicemails, or even messages on other platforms. I've been trying to schedule with him for several months and have now asked for the deposit back since he never completed or even scheduled the project that he agreed to in the estimate. Ed is non-responsive. I'm really disappointed that he would steal my money as I liked his work and working with him previously went well. It must be assumed that this is no longer a reputable business.

Latilla isn't cheap, but I feel that Enchantment offered a fair price and were very transparent, and they still came out a couple hundred dollars less than the other two companies. I had a couple thousand for additional security enhancements to the fence, and they were able to offer me several options and come up with the right fence for my property and my needs. They were kind and accomodating when other contractors' mistakes resulted in delays. The men who installed the fence were nice and professional and did an absolutely beautiful job.
