I ordered a flight of the reds (that's 5 tastings!) and knew I was going to buy two of them - the cab franc and the merlot were soooo tasty and easy on the nose. I had a liking about a third, so ordered a glass to decide. I got to sit outside, covered by a patio draped in grape vines, next to a gorgeous tractor, all while listening to farm animals (rooster, chicks, lambs) at the connected farm. It was idyllic! HIGHLY recommend. (And yes, I did end up getting the 3rd: the Hot Pursuit.) The folks that work there are also kind and speedy with service. I'm going back for sure!

The first time I came, I thought I was in the wrong place, but the friendly staff pointed me to the stairs which takes you to a cute little dining area. Each time, I've come on the weekend, and it's always been quiet. All their dishes are basically simple preparations of their imported goods. Over three visits I've tried their appertivos, tostas, cino jotas, tapas, bocadillo and marisqueria. Despite how simple everything is, it's quite delicious, and becomes the reason why I go downstairs to buy several products before going home. Service always been super friendly, but not always there when you need them, as the employees do double-time working downstairs and so they are not constantly present in the dining area. Overall, I always enjoyed my meals here. It's simple food in a quiet cozy place.

The gentleman in the store was very nice to us and offered a free wine tasting plus a winery tour, learned a lot about the history of the entire westham island and how they process their fruit wine. They changed the ownership a couple years ago and seems like the current owner emphasizes a lot on their ethical production (less sugar, less sulfites) and the quality of the wine. I have always been a wine lover and strongly recommend their blueberry and black currant. Thank you Angel Estate Winery, we will definitely come back soon. Keep up the good vibe!

The Reserve reds were particularly fine, with grapes coming from either the Okanagan BC or Washington State, using a mix of new and second/third use French oak. Probably one of the better Petit Verdot we've experienced. An overall superb visit!! Most sales come from the tasting room, and small production wines sell out quickly - so visit frequently and get on their mailing list!
