i have insured my home and multiple autos through chris rose since 2015. in that time i have had…read moreno problems at all with the service. in fact, his office has contacted me occassionally with recommendations or updates to my coverage that have changed or could change. the reason that i'm typing this review though, is because a few weeks ago when chicago had the -20° weather, i was at work at 6am when i received a phone call from my wife at home that we had a water pipe burst and water was flowing down the walls. i was stuck at work and my wife was busy shutting off the water, drying the floor, and dealing with 2 babies. i texted mr. rose and he called me back immediately. i explained to him that i was busy at work, and the wife is knee deep in water and kids. chris found and put me in contact with an emergency plummer as well as a water remediation specialist. i was able to get the process started to fix the damage in the 6 o'clock hour without delay. this brought some peace and calmness to what began as a very chaotic and stressful morning. the cost of the damage was within reason and we ultimately paid out of pocket instead of filing a claim, which makes me even more grateful for chris's time and effort at 6am. it was his availability, knowledge, and willingness to help that made a huge difference for us that morning. thank you chris.

However, Marci said that they needed to look at our 11-year-old roof, which we have never made a claim on and has been checked on every two years to maintain its warranty. Today, Kevin emailed me that "due to the recent hail storm in August and your area being subject to penny and nickel size hail, we are going to have to retract our offer." He didn't write anything about our roof's condition. I feel that I was misled by Kevin, and that if he wanted to check out our roof, we could have arranged it during the first 10 minutes of our initial phone conversation. That would have saved a lot of time.
