After getting a good recommendation from a friend not only did we regret our decision our friends…read morewere equally very dissatisfied with all the short cuts- like not covering bushes, plants, walkways and decks; partially powerwashing the surface, not sanding areas that were scraped, etc. The first day of the job I overheard him tell his workers how quick the job would go and they'd be done in two days tops! He wound up trying to set up, "powerwash", scrape, prime and paint two coats in two days on our two story house. The wood siding never got a chance to dry out in between . Unfortunately by his third time back to correct the recurring problems we paid the entire bill, not realizing it wasn't complete afterall. By this time, we had to wait six months for him to came back and finish up in the spring .He back for one day to "spot" fix but after almost one year of aggravation we have given up on having him back again. The Big lesson we learned here is to get THREE recent reccommendations and NEVER pay the whole bill until the contractor completes the job that you contracted for.

The floor job was pretty complex. The previous owners had removed a wall, thrown down some plywood and covered it in carpet. The floor on either side of the plywood was covered in two slightly different ypes of wood and was splattered in paint. Now it looks great! The price was as quoted, and there was communication everyday. As far as COVID protocols, Craig did as I asked while in my home. Will definitely use Wilcox Carpentry again.

I wanted to change colors and Erich offered to consult with his paint supplier and was able to offer a color that was exactly what I wanted at no extra cost.
