He goes above and beyond, responds quickly, is extremely knowledgeable, and makes sure everything is handled thoroughly and professionally. It's rare to come across someone who takes that much pride in their work, and his help has made a huge difference in my experience here. Queong has also been fantastic on the leasing side--his communication is excellent, and he's always been responsive, clear, and helpful. Both Tim and Queong are a huge asset to The Homestead!

Steer clear. Not just another greedy complex, but one that discriminates against individuals with…read moredisabilities. I have a debilitating autoimmune disease, and after a serious complication with my spine that could cause paralysis and needs surgical repair, I reached out to the office with a letter of accommodation from my physician requesting a ground floor unit. Going up and down the stairs is excruciating and dangerous for me, and there are no elevators. To start, I was only sent units that were far larger and more expensive than my current unit. I made it clear that I couldn't afford anything beyond the amount I was already paying, but talked down to by the leasing agent. Her tone was rude and condescending, and when I pointed this out, I never received an apology - she simply stopped replying. I then had to go on Zillow, and look at which units were available since none of the reasonably priced ones were sent to me. I found a ground floor unit that was much more accessible, and reached out to see if it was still available. On May 7th, I was quoted $1400 for it, which is $40 less than what I currently pay. I agreed to transfer to that one, and the lease was sent on May 8th. Upon review, I noticed that the lease had an amount of $1440 on it, rather than the $1400 I was quoted. I reached back out to the manager thinking this was a mistake, and he instead said that market rates just so happened to change on May 8th (the day AFTER I was quoted $1400 in writing) and was asked if I still wanted to transfer. I responded stating that they needed to honor what I'd originally been quoted, and was told they'd have to "run it by upper management". This was absolutely intentional. They were hoping I wouldn't notice the higher price, because they're so worried about losing $40 a month. Being disabled in this country is so hard as it is, and The Homestead has done nothing but show me that they do not care about my quality of life or accessibility. People frequently abuse the disabled parking spaces, and residents aren't allowed to reserve them. My upstairs neighbors have also been a nightmare, and even after multiple complaints with videos of them making noise at 2am, nothing has been done. Just save yourself the emotional and physical distress, and live somewhere else. You never know when you'll end up sick or disabled, and the last thing you want is to have to worry about is what I'm going through. Now I have to get my attorney involved and take legal action just to have a home that suits my needs. I'm so exhausted, in constant pain, fighting a broken healthcare system, and struggling to make ends meet. Thanks Homestead team.

From the day we moved in, our experience here has been terrible. Tim never introduced himself or…read moreeven said hello. The apartment was dirty when we moved in, hadn't been properly painted, and we were left to clean up and finish work that should have been done before we got the keys. It feels like Tim plays favorites with certain tenants. The rules seem to apply only to the people he doesn't like, while others are allowed to break the same rules without consequences. Meanwhile, he'll write you up for almost anything. If you complain about another tenant, don't expect help--I felt like management focused more on defending the other person than addressing the issue. The apartments are not move-in ready, and tenants end up doing work that should be the landlord's responsibility. Overall, the property is poorly maintained and has been very disappointing. I also found Tim to be rude, unfriendly, and lacking the customer service skills someone in a management position should have. I don't understand how he's still the general manager. In my opinion, this is the worst place I have ever lived, and I would not recommend it to anyone looking for a well-managed apartment community. Races against black people and women and the LGBTQ community. Have rats and cockroaches and tim worst general manager he need to find a nother job being a Walmart greeter, maybe just maybe he'll give him hope and inspiration. So you can learn people's skills, but that's just a fart in the wind.I don't think there's no luck with him. Slum lord of a place spare your headache and run away from this place. As far as far , you can I feel bad for his assistant manager. Rebecca how she put up with tim. He a piece of shit. I live therefor about a yr just movie out thank god 07/17/26

SEXIST MANAGER. DIRTY. ROB YOU AT MOVE OUT!!! If I could…read moregive zero stars I would. We lived here for a short period of after moving back to town and finding a new place. To start off, the office manager is extremely rude and extremely sexist as he seems to only want to ever work with my husband. God forbid you hang decor on your front door because the will make you feel extremely uncomfortable in your own home if you do. Next, the fire alarm was going off in my neighbors unit when they were away, DONT CALL MANAGEMENT, he said "we'll have you checked the batteries" and was extremely disrespectful, don't waste your time just call 911. Moving in we were told the carpet was brand new because of the previous tenant but i believe they are charging carpet re do fees for everyone and not actually replacing it, I say this because as we do this for a living, I noticed there was cat food in the seem of the carpet on the right side of the AC (YES, BEFORE WE BROUGHT OUR CAT HOME THIS WAS DURING WALK THROUGH) Extremely dissatisfied, don't live here. Thankfully I was able to get in touch with the Spokane County Commissioner as this place is moldy, deck floors falling through, horrible management. Also, don't listen to their "20 days notice" because they will charge you for rent either way, just stay there and finish till the month is over and keep it for yourself because you will be paying for them to just get another tenant in the unit!
