And being a five minute drive from Leeds city centre, it becomes convenient golf on a budget. The perfect place to master your short game, the course only has a few 300+ yard holes, with most being in the late 1 and early 2 hundred yarders. Look out for the WW2 bomb-hole on the seventh! Not beautifully kept, but perfectly playable, and at these prices (£1 for trolley hire) you just have no cause for complaint.

They have an indoor swimming pool, gym and golfing grounds. We only managed to take advantage of the pool and gym. The room itself is spacious and very cozy. We took advantage of the kettle in the room to make ourselves some tea that night. And I had no problem falling asleep on their comfy mattress. Unfortunately breakfast ends around 10 or 10:30am (I can't remember) and we missed it due to sleeping in late. I do wish breakfast would be kept open later till at least 11am so that guests could have a good lie in. All the staff here are super friendly and helpful, which is a bonus! Other than that, the next time I'm in Hull I'll book a longer stay at Cave Castle and take advantage of all the amenities. My stay was far too short for such an amazing place!

There is cafe which sells hot and cold food and the staff are friendly, helpful and i believed are fully training in health & safety and are full first aiders. This place isnt cheap but it does offer a longer play time than any of the other indoor play facilities in Hull. At peak times under 1's is £1, under 4's £3.25, and over 4's £4.25 and each accompanying adult is 50p They also do a parent and toddler group during term time which is £2.50 for each parent and toddler, additional £2 per child and 50p for each accopanying adult. Playzone can also cater for birthday parties whic h includes 2 hours play, a meal, goody bag and cake - however i am unsure of what the party prices are.

It's advisable to book ahead before you go for a game else you may be waiting a while. There is a nice bar with very friendly staff and lots of good offers on. There's seating areas in the bar and they have things like quizzes and competitions on sometimes. The one downside is that there's no Sky Sports on the TV's so you can't watch football in there. There's also a small snack bar that does basic things like hot and cold sandwiches, crisps and chocolate.
