The Grange Manor bed and breakfast, is an 18th Century Manor House set in the middle of a 26 acre estate. The peace and quiet here is amazing. A 20 minute trip brings you to the busy city of Kilkenny. 10 minutes to Durrow and 15 minutes to Castlecomer. A great place to recover from jetlag, and a handy base for touring Tipperary, Laois, Kilkenny, Waterford and Wexford counties. Cork and Dublin airports are 90 minutes away. Mary gives a true Irish welcome to all her guests, home baked scones, Brown bread and cooked to order breakfast. History

Established in 2013.

The Grange Manor started as a 500 hectare farm in the 12th Century with a small cottage on the current site of the big house. Queen Elizabeth 1st gifted the land to a Tudor family in the late 16th century and in 1709 the house was extended to the size it is today, it took 60 years to complete the gracious extension and landscapes! In 1998 the house was refurbished in keeping with its age, and new plumbing installed. All bedrooms are now ensuite. The Mulcahy family bought the house in 2005 and are running it as a bed and breakfast since 2013.
