This is my first time playing here. What a great overall experience for the cost. We were met at…read morebag drop, gave us a quick layout of the grounds. After hitting a few balls we were met by the starter. The course was in fantastic shape for summertime. Not a lot of water but be ready for a bunch of sand traps. (They are maintained perfectly). I am sure we will be back soon.

My aunt (a resident of Sun City West) had booked a bridal shower (for my daughter) a few months ago…read moreand also a 75th birthday for my uncle at Bella Vista (Corte Bella) before the ownership changed. The communication was absolutely horrible. They didn't ever answer the phone. They claim they tried to call a few times (never did) and are just terrible people to deal. Let me tell you they caused a lot of unnecessary stress (my uncle and aunt both obviously have some pretty serious health issues and really didn't need or deserve this aggravation) by not being open and forthcoming about the management change and how that would impact my aunt's contract. When she did get a response finally from Cortabella, they said that the new owners would "probably" honor the contract, but no guarantees... I experienced this firsthand as I was CC'd on this particular email because I was part of the planning of the bridal shower for my daughter. This email came from an employee of Corte Bella that claimed she had tried to reach out numerous times (she did not)... we have this one and only email from her. Oh, and those phantom phone calls she claims were placed? No they were not. As a matter of fact, she circled back at some point to tell my aunt that she didn't even have contact information for either one of us. Really? What about the phone numbers that we submitted on the contract which I also have a copy of... I just can't believe the level of unprofessionalism here. Well, "probably" honoring a contract is obviously not good enough when you have a 75th Birthday party booked out several weeks in advance and a Bridal Shower booked literally several months, the whole game changes when you are told you may or may not have a contract any longer because the vendor changed hands. After several weeks of frustration, they finally told my aunt that they would refund her deposits in the form of gift cards to the restaurant. NO THANK YOU! As if she would actually ever patronize these restaurants . Eventually, they refunded my Aunt's deposits in the form of a check. It took several weeks and numerous attempted phone calls (nobody answers the phone) eventually my aunt just resorted to just showing up at the HOA meetings, only to be told that she cannot attend. And then at the HOA office itself where she was treated very poorly. Let me just say that I will never do business with any restaurant that has related ownership with Angela's (Angela herself was literally one of the people my aunt dealt with only to go silent) Corte Bella or any other I find out about. What a horrible way to do business. There are many many other venues that are more than happy to oblige. I'm happy to say both parties have been rebooked at different venues. I will never eat at Angela's again (it's overrated and the service is lousy and slow at best) nor will I ever attempt to book another party at Corte Bella. This is just a public service announcement to warn you about opening up a contract with Corte Bella for any type of special party. My family has always thrown some really great parties. We know how to plan, we know how to execute. We are very detailed oriented. And as a result we have had some great experiences back in Chicago as well as here in Arizona. I must say I've never encountered this type of treatment or this lack of professionalism for any party we have ever planned. There are so many insane twists and turns about all of this that I cannot even write it all. I'm sure my aunt is not the only one that has experienced this incredibly frustrating treatment. I am just as certain that she will not be the last. Point in case you can't even reach anybody by phone as noted in the original post here. Probably one of the things that really puzzles me and upsets me the most is that my 75 year-old Uncle, who has an obvious advanced level of Parkinson's disease had to keep going back to this HOA office with my aunt just to get their deposit back. When even walking is obviously a struggle, he would not give up because honesty and integrity are of the utmost importance to both of them. That's all they wanted. All it would've taken was for Corte Bella to apologize for the misunderstanding and to issue them a check. Doesn't anybody ever do the right thing anymore?

I could not pass on a chance to play a round on this private course. First of all, let me say that…read morethe customer service here is top notch. Let me start off with the only two issues I had. Sunday, the kitchen at the course grill closes at 12:00 noon on Sunday's, kinda sucks if you are hungry after a round. The bar is open, and does offer cold cuts sandwiches. Not sure of their beverage cart service, and with the covid thing happening. They did not offer a beverage cart service during the day we played. Plenty of drinks at the club house so load up before you go out. Now the positives, First of all, let me say that the customer service here is top notch. Course is in great shape, Greens are pristine, fairways are in great shape. Now the course, The front nine is like most of the Sun City courses. Wide, flat, and some trees. Greens are multi tiered. Back nine gets very interesting. They have this damn creek that runs along the side of most if these holes. It does come into play. Back nine also have a lot more water. When you're going down the stretch, they decided to make the end even tougher. So, with that said, course is challenging. I also wanted to mention, their carts do not have GPS, so I used mine, However I left my GPS on the cart, I knew I was going to do this. I went back the following morning since I live in the area. They had it at the front desk. Great honest people there. Thank You,
