Known as the world’s fastest, most practical self defense system, GM Swift passes on the most highly rated street tactical form of self defense for you and your family. Grandmasters Wing Chun Kung Fu is a lifesaving art NOT for sport with tournaments and rules. On the street there are none. As well as techniques that are taught to save your life in serious situations, there are just as many passive moves to learn in case a situation does not have a serious aggressor like in school, the workplace, etc. Here, you can develop incredible reflexes, coordination, and agility- which hugely enhances other sports and everyday life. GM Swift is a trainer to many NHL and NFL pro ball players. This is NOT an exhibition, flowery Kung Fu type of style with lots of prearranged forms/katas. Students will benefit greatly from having the opportunity to learn the whole system. Students will have the opportunity to learn the wooden dummy, long pole, swords, and full training in blindfold/table fighting. You will be training in a fun and very respectful environment, where professional men, women and families train with GM Swift’s most advanced instructors. GM Swift personally each class assisted by great instructors whom are patient, caring, and VERY knowledgeable. The gym has 3 beautiful training rooms, themed differently with 100 parking spaces in a park like setting (not a strip mall). The motto is, let’s have fun but get it done!

Established in 1983.
Since Sept. 1983 GM/Sifu Swift returned to the USA from London & Hong Kong developing a huge following in Chicago, NY, FL,& for the last 8 yrs, Tonka/Eden Prairie area with a beautiful gym in EP.The EP location is the USA headquarters since 2017.GM Swift returned to Hong Kong many times to train with his teachers over the years.He then brought the Ip Man family, sons Ip Chun & Ip Ching, to the USA introducing them to North America (for the first time in history) & was a major influence in promoting the idea of the Ip Man Pt.1 movie with his friend Samo Hung.GM Swift moved his family to MN in 2016 for his kids’ careers.To finding an actual direct lineage to the Ip Man family with the experience of half a century as GM Swift’s is nearly impossible to find.With 48 yrs of GM Swift’s full time profession teaching the entire system of Wing Chun, students can have an opportunity to REALLY learn a true street tactical fighting system which is meant to protect you, your family, & your property.
Meet the Business Owner: GM Steve Lee S.
Grandmasters Wing Chun is owned by Hall of Fame GM Swift, with a direct lineage of late GM Ip Man learning under his son’s GM’s Ip Chun, Ip Ching, Sr. Instructor Wong Shun Leung (who taught Bruce Lee as well) &Simon Lau. He was also the first to bring GM’s Ip Chun &Ip Ching to the USA four times, introducing them to North America. Being one of the most highly renowned Wing Chun GMs in the world, GM Swift pioneered the Ip Man Wing Chun lineage to Tampa in 1996, with headquarters now in Minnesota. Since 1977, GM Swift’s entire life has been dedicated solely to training, teaching, & promoting the art of Wing Chun (7 days/wk/48 yrs). GM Swift has lived & trained in London and Hong Kong with his teachers. Inducted into Hall of Fames, GM Swift has been featured in MANY magazines, newspaper, tv, videos, books, films,& movie choreography.1st Senior Instructor(certified USA representative of the Ving Tsun Athletic Assoc. of Hong Kong) to be tested & certified by late elders of Ip Man Wing Chun.
