From the Business

Specialties

Grand Strand Hardscapes is a locally owned and operated Hardscape & Landscape Design company. Our service range from paver patio installation, retaining walls & Sod installation to landscape lighting and complete renovation. Our professional team is here to take the stress of your back and turn your yard into the oasis you deserve!

History

Established in 2015.

Grand Strand Hardscapes was founded to bring reliable, high-quality hardscape and outdoor living services to homeowners across the Myrtle Beach and Grand Strand area. After seeing too many projects rushed, poorly built, or overpromised by large volume contractors, we set out to build a company focused on craftsmanship, honesty, and long-term results. From the beginning, our goal has been simple: design and build outdoor spaces the right way, using proper preparation, proven installation methods, and materials that perform in coastal South Carolina conditions. What started as a small, hands-on operation has grown through referrals and repeat clients who value clear communication and professional results. Today, Grand Strand Hardscapes remains locally owned and owner-led. We continue to focus on custom paver patios, walkways, fire pits, retaining walls, pergolas, and full backyard transformations—treating every project as if it were our own home.

Once the installation was done…read moreand he was paid $25,000 for the job, between my husband and myself several calls and texts were sent. All we got was the runaround. I had 6 agave plants that I was charged $199.95 EACH that were diseased when they were installed, 1 Palm Sabal @ $500 each that died within 4 months, and several Flax Lilly plants that died. I texted Randy (the owner) and he even told me Teryll will be at my house to replace the plants. I waited an entire week and no one showing. I voiced my concern to Randy a week after the Agaves were installed and told him how brown the leaves were and his text to me was "They should heal itself. Let's watch it for a bit and if it does not I can replace it." Well that never happened. After the tree died, I gave up. My husband called him and said can you at least give us some kind of discount to have this replaced and Randy said he would send a quote. NEVER HAPPENED!!! We have more trees, plants, and rock that needs done but he lost my business. This is why I cannot recommend this company because of diseased product and follow through.

The reason for this late review is due to the fact that my request for Travis to return and finish what he promised to do has been ignored. After numerous texts back and forth, and 1 or 2 face to face conversations, he has still refused to come by and finished what he promised to do. Be sure to do your due diligence before hiring BRP.
