I did not stay at the hotel, but spent a day the their Health Club in autumn (fitness, swimming pool, spa) and I only used the indoor facilities. These facilities are all in all disappointing given the rest of the hotel and how they advertise their spa, but each compound is different:
1. Fitness room: huge, modern, recently redone, clean, and a lot of top modern equipment, clearly 5 stars
2. Swimming pool: nice and big - but no place to comfortably relax (no chaises longues etc): 3 stars
3. Turkish bath / sauna area and dressing rooms/showers/bathrooms: clearly a big disappointment, although everything was functioning: old facilities that definitively need a modernisation. Not cosy at all, in the cellar with a cellar feeling, no nice places to relax. Not sufficiently clean (stuff stuck in the spaces between the wooden floor plates), nothing to drink, no snacks, no nice shower/bath products. Turkish bath smelled moldy, showers are very old and seem rarelt used. 2 stars at best. Simply no relaxing cosy spa feeling that a hotel of that standard should provide (in general and for the price of 50€ for a day pass) which made me spend less time there than I had planned
4. Massage: rooms are nicely furnished, waiting area is a cellar corridor. Massage was very good and professional, 4 stars.
5. Lunch at hotel restaurant: delicious and very friendly service, 4 stars
All in all 3 stars due to the disappointing spa area. read more
