I needed gas off the I-55, I was visiting a Historical Site nearby and needed gas. The nice and modern store front caught my attention. The gas prices are competitive for the area and the beautiful car wash looked pretty new , modern. Inside it's modern and fresh. Clean, not cluttered and signs were easy to follow. Simple to find what you need. Very clean and updated bathrooms. Super cool and a very nice layout of the Casino Gaming Room. Red Hots. That's looked fun. The car wash doesn't accept Jeep Wranglers, so I couldn't try it BUT thank you for being courteous to not damage my vehicle. They were kind to refund me. So I was able to purchase Lottery. They sell all the lottery tickets also. They were nice to their customers and found the interaction to be pleasant. Great place in the community and visitors, especially so close to the major highway. People can place the games and relax also, take a break from their Tours some. TY for your kindness and I recommend them! Professional people. (1 of their gas pumps wasn't accepting card , so I knocked off 1 star because some people may not want to go inside. - but gas stations are much harder to rate than other places). For you uninformed lot, tamales rojos - or "red tamales" are a slightly spicy pork in a red sauce wrapped in corn dough and fried in what I believe must be lard because the darn things are just too good not to be very fattening. This place has the best meat to masa ratio I've ever had, just slightly more masa than meat, but not so much that the spice is all hidden. I don't like tamales verdes (green ones) in general, so I can't speak to the ones here. My stepmom says they suck. But the rojos are gold, solid gold.

The gas station was very slow and closed down in april or may of 2016. They were named as supersonic and marathon but then in july 2012 they named it phillips 66. Later on in august of 2014 they were going to switch the gas station into VP racing Fuels but before they could do it they closed down the whole business in 2016. Later on in june of 2017 the convenience store inside was smashed up very badly. There was shards of glass broken shelfs off the counter. The countertop was a mess the coffee maker area was looking disgusting after the incident and the coolers were also demolished and drinks and liquor were all over the ground. The car wash was still in perfect order but was out of order. But later on in november of 2017 close to thanksgiving, They demolished the canopy of the station and all there was left was the convenience store and the car wash. Things have changed in August 2018, there was bobcat truck inside the carwash getting ready to take everything out even the brushes. The brushes were a brick red color and dark black for the other color. The brushes were still clean as no one used the car wash back then when the business was open. The brushes did have a little bit of dirt on them but only on the top. But on October 3rd 2018 there were maintenance workers inside that took the brushes and threw them on the ground getting ready to do something with them. We dont know exactly what happened to the brushes but they were either thrown in the dumpster or sold to sonnys the car wash factory. Later on they cleaned out the car wash tunnel and cleaned out the convenience store since it was demolished back in 2017. There was actually a big opening between the car wash and the store, they actually built another building in that opening area so they can open up 2 extra stores. In june of 2019 they finally opened the plaza but there was only 2 stores. The car wash has been converted into a insurance navy brokers. And the building that they built in between the car wash and the store was actually opened up into brow bar, a place where they fix and do woman's eye brows. But then in August 2019 they opened up the convenience store as a rug store "HR House of Rugs". Then in november or december of 2019 they opened up 1 more store call melt & dip gelato crepe. The place is now a strip mall and its not a gas station anymore. The address is S Harlem Ave bridgeview 8258.
