It can be a little pricey compared to another Indian restaurant in seven hills but it is a much nicer location. They even make my wife's favourite entrée that's not on the menu. Like it Love it

Highly DISAPPOINTING !!!!!!!…read more We visited Maharaja lakeview in Baulkham Hills today (Sunday) to celebrate a birthday, and unfortunately the entire experience was extremely disappointing and upsetting. From the moment we arrived, the service was chaotic and disrespectful. The restaurant had no bottled water available, and despite repeatedly asking for Coke for our daughter because she was thirsty, the staff ignored us multiple times. At one point, when my daughter politely approached the counter, one of the staff members rudely told her, "Go back to your seat." She waited patiently, then approached another stewardess and politely said, "Could you please serve me Coke as I'm thirsty?" The response she received was simply, "It's fine." We then had to ask three different staff members before the Coke was finally served. Meanwhile, the cashier/in-charge for the coke to be served, loudly said to another steward, "De toh rahi hu," in an irritated tone, which was extremely unprofessional and humiliating. We had ordered Banquet #3 for three people ($52.99 per person). The snacks that arrived were completely tasteless. Things became worse during the main course. One of the stewardesses came to place cutlery on the table and while I was on my phone, she handled the plate so carelessly and aggressively that my husband had to take it from her hand to avoid it hitting me. The behaviour felt condescending and disrespectful. I chose to remain quiet at the time because I did not want to ruin the celebration. The Goan fish smelled so bad that it completely put us off our meal. After that, we could barely eat. Throughout the evening, only one staff member bothered to ask whether we needed anything else. Despite leaving a large amount of food unfinished because of the terrible experience, none of the staff cared to ask if something was wrong or even offered dessert before we left as it was a part of the the order , Banquet#3. We ended up paying $176 for what was genuinely one of the worst dining experiences we have had. This was meant to be a special family celebration, but the rude behaviour, lack of hospitality, poor food quality, and overall treatment completely ruined the evening. EXTREMELY disappointing.

I am not sure if Masala Master is a chain of restaurants. We have visited the one in Drummoyne a…read morecouple of times and when we saw this voucher we couldn't resist checking it out. On the voucher we could order two entrees. We chose Onion Bhajji (4 PCS) and MIX PAKORA ASSORTED (6 PCS) so we were a little disappointed to see only four things on the plate as we sort of expected to see ten. I suppose that we were being little piggies. Our entree was probably worth $7.08. The mains were pretty good and the little dishes were filled to nearly overflowing. We had Chicken Madras ($16.90) and Mattar Panneer ($15.50) with rice ($4) and two naan ($6) and two drinks ($7). In total around $57 and we paid $35. I really don't normally add all these things up to see if the voucher was worth it but there are some places where an alarm bell rings and you just gotta wonder..... The food was nice and the service was good and we were full. There were quite a few in the restaurant from the local businesses having their lunch meal deal. It was also BYO wine and beer or at least one table thought so? You can be lucky with parking as it is in a business area and you have to access the area from a driveway that comes off the roundabout.

Here for lunch on a lazy Sunday afternoon. Decent sized, comfortable…read more The food is decent. The curries spicy (like requested), but not overpowered worth chilli. The naan's crispy. Not too oily. The only downside (if it could be called that) would be that the chicken biriyani was not Hyderabadi Dum Biriyani.

Five stars on a voucher! The food and service was excellent. We had dinner early on a Tuesday night…read moreand this could account for such a pleasant experience. As we left more people arrived for meals and take aways. You will read elsewhere that the place is in the middle of nowhere but if you live in the Hills district it is not that much of a drive. It is near the turnoff to Galston. There is plenty of onsite parking too. There was way too much food on this voucher for two people and it was such a good advertisement for the place. It is not a small restaurant and also has an area sectioned off for a private party. Whilst there appears to have always been an Indian restaurant here the current owners have been here for less than a year. I think I will have to come back on a Saturday night when they have their entertainment.

Fantastic food now that it has new owners again and on Saturday night they have entertainment by way of an Indian crooner who is seriously funny though he doesn't intend to be. Unusual dishes and very nice staff, it's a lovely drive all the way to Mid-Dural to the restaurant. Needs a bit of paint outside and a couple of things need fixing in the inside but the new owners are keen to get the business back to where it was. Shouldn't take them too long.
