Seafood was good. Steak very very average at best. Service was outstanding. Restaurant looks awesome. Why would the steaks be average! We ate the tomahawk steak. read more

I am not sure what else can be said that hasn't about Gran Central. Absolutely phenomenal. Ate here twice while in SLP this last week and I would return many more times If I was given the opportunity. Had a ribeye the first night with the papas soufflé it obviously didn't disappoint because we returned again during the week and had the filet over salt cooked with gin and marrow, all I can say is WOW!! Monte was a great server, so good in fact that we requested him on our return trip. He was extremely patient with us non Spanish speakers and did a great job making sure we got everything we wanted, he even made us his special sauce for the papas soufflé (definitely try this)!! If you're looking for an excellent steak while in SLP definitely stop here and ask for Monte to take care of you!!! I noticed a previous review about not being able to split checks, Monte took care of this for us without any issues. Maybe you have to have the right person helping you out? read more

We have been here twice on our monthly trip to San Luis. First time My "medium rare" steak was over cooked, the second time it was rare. Basics for an expensive steakhouse. The atmosphere is "booji" and the are attentive and the service is amazing, but I won't go back for the cooks inability to know when a steak is cooked properly". We were a group of 5 people, did not have a reservation but did not have any issues getting in. The "chicharrón de cachete" was awesome as an appetizer. Also the salsa kit was great. For some reason they kept taking away my glass of water (even when it was half full), so I had to keep asking them to bring me another one since they did not came back with a another one after they took it. I had a New York "medium" it was very ok, no complaints, nothing great. Place is great for business dinner. Quiet, clean and good environment. Service is OK. An issue we saw was that they had a hard time splitting the ticket, and we ended up having only one ticket and we paid with different cards. We even called the manager and was not able to help with that topic (we needed the different tickets due to expense reports requirements). Looks like customer satisfaction is not their top priority. Besides that, all good and will return just to make sure it was just an isolated topic and try something else. read more

The food is with a high quality but the staff sometimes has a lack of awareness. Sometimes it takes "hours" to get a glass of water and sometimes it's just seconds. All in all it's a place where you can go privately or also invite business partners. read more
