Unexpected modern twist in the heart of Tequisquiapan. It's spacious and has several dining rooms but the unique ambiance is only the beginning-- the food itself is a whole other experience. To start off we ordered the Crema de Jalapeño soup, and while there are many varieties of cream based soups, this one rivals the best, it was loaded with a smooth smoky flavor and was perfect for two. Next, were the ribeye chicharrones. The unexpected crunchiness was the real surprise as a chicharrón is normally soft. We ended with the traditional Chile en Nogada- capturing all the rich flavors of Mexico in one bite, this is a must if you are visiting when the dish is in season. read more
