We had just arrived in Paris and I wanted to take my 10 year old daughter on a stroll to see how the natives behave in their natural habitat. I asked a street vendor about the best bakery in the neighborhood and Voilà, we found Bechu.
It's a cut above the average, for sure. We loved the macarons, chocolate tart, apple tart, a few mini-bouche de Noels, as well as the humble baguette they make. The café looked charming although we didn't eat there. The quality is top notch and the place has a happy, buzzy, bustling, glamorous atmosphere.
