I started to have knee pain, after running a 15k, which I never experienced before. A friend of…read moremine recommended Dr. Sean Epstein. I'm not going to lie I was a little hesitant about seeing a chiropractor and having to possibly go a few times a week. I scheduled a deep tissue massage thinking it would magically fix my issue. Sadly to say it didn't & the next day I called Dr. Sean. He was extremely pleasant and helpful and made sure I was able to come in the following day. Best decision I have ever made & I owe my friend, for referring me to him. Of course I was nervous about that he was going to say stop working out & with Broadstreet a few weeks away that really wasn't an option. I'm so glad that he encouraged me to continue to workout as long as my pain was not severe. I was there for about two hours between my evaluation and starting treatment. He was completely thorough and took the time to ask questions to completely understand where and what was causing my pain. Within a day or so most of my knee pain was gone. I did decide to take 2 days off from working out since it's been 10 plus years I had been adjusted. I have been there two times since and I feel completely better and can't wait to take on Broadstreet. FYI - I also suffer from migraines and it was during the evaluation process Dr. Sean, told me he could help with them. I usually get 2-5 a month and in the three weeks I have been seeing him, I have not had one! I wish I knew this years ago, I would not of had to suffer! If you are on the fence like I was, just call and schedule an appointment. All you have to lose is your pain.

I love Dr. Sean Epstein. I suffer from very bad TMJ. I've seen many doctors, who all told me the…read moresame thing, eat softer foods and pain meds to manage my pain. After all these years I believed that was the norm and suffered silently. After just one visit, which was initially for my lower back, I told him about my TMJ. He did his magic, and I felt great. After my visit I went straight to my favorite cheesesteak spot and ate a cheesesteak without any pain. 5 stars all around for Dr. Epstein.

Removing Dr. Tom Mandis was the worst thing this Franchise owner could have done. The office now…read morehas a cold, sterile feel (not to mention it was dead when usually it's full) and the new Doctor who may also be a co owner Dr Len Molczan was rude, dismissive, pompous, and against PA state licensing law, refused to give me Dr. Tom's information so that I, AS THE PATIENT can continue treatment with him if choose, as is MY PATIENT RIGHT. When I politely asked again what happened to Dr. Tom he dead stopped preparing to adjust me and rudely asked "Do you want to be adjusted today, or not"- as if to threaten to NOT treat me that day. I wonder how many other people he's told that Dr Tom "moved on". I doubt Dr. Tom would just abandon his patients like that as he has morals as a Doctor should. As a member of the Joint for MANY YEARS, and a patient who visits 1-3 times a week on average, I am canceling my membership and not rejoining. Dr. Gene Fish must have no scruples or decency to let Dr. Tom build up hundreds if not thousands of patients and then thank him (the receptionist Jamie too because she's far better than any other receptionist they have there, she actually cares and goes the distance), by getting rid of him and then not forwarding patients to him. Also, I was talking to my tax guy and my wife who was also a member (one of the dozens of patients I've sent to the Joint over the years) may be liable for back taxes and penalties since her FSA funds were improperly used for "non-qualified expenses"- aka Joint membership dues. Those funds are ok to be used for actual visits, but not for membership fees or dues. She needs to amend her tax returns to account for improperly excluded income. I can't believe the Joint promotes and allows this improper use of her PSA tax-advantaged account. I am guessing that the Joint is leaving themselves wide open on this one...They receive IRS tax benefits, get to receive recurring PSA money for membership fees even if services haven't been provided that month? I wonder how many other patients this has affected? It sucks for the franchise owners who were told by The Joint that this is ok to market to prospective patients!

The type of adjustment and attention you might get might be a little less than what one is accustomed to getting by going to a traditional chiropractor, but with the relatively low-cost monthly plan, you get more than what you pay for. The decor, which is more or less the same across several of the joints I have visited in the past, borders on sterile, and I wish it would have a more uniquely tailored flare. Nevertheless, I enjoy coming in for my weekly adjustment.
