We decided to try this place for some lobster rolls. A very nice marketplace and deli. We also enjoyed some fresh oysters from Maine, fresh and delicious. The service was very friendly hot ladies at the counter and the men in kitchen preparing the lobster rolls and oysters on half shell. Great service and clean casual setting. Only drawbacks was the miniature size of the lobster rolls although the lobster meat was very fresh.

Excellent bike stop at Graffam's outside food truck today for Fried Clams! Nice place to go for lunch in MidCoast Maine on. Beautiful summer day!

The shack and picnic area with live music

Charming and picturesque shack on one side of street. Larger interior restaurant on other side. We were doing a 25 mile bike tour of this lovely part of Maine. A perfect lunch stop for us. A unique note: they had an older guy playing music and singing, mostly falsetto. A bit odd (with some comments from nearby diners!) The lobster rolls were very good! The gorgeous August afternoon was perfection! You order at the shack and they call out your name. They were doing a big business.

Small little convenience store/seafood shop. They have everything from wine to beer to coffee to seasonings and normal convenience store things. Where this place really makes it worth the trek is its seafood. They have everything from sushi grade blue tuna to live lobsters that make a delightful lobster roll. We had those lobster rolls and they served on a crispy buttered bread. The lobster was the main attraction here and it was worth it!

We again visited this combination seafood market & restaurant where we again ordered New England clam chowder that was pretty good. While waiting for our orders, I checked out the seafood section and discovered there was an excellent variety of fresh seafood available though prices, particularly for to be lobsters, on the high side.

We've had this place in our sights for several years but timing never worked out. Until last Saturday. We ate at the food truck area. Cute picnic tables, very friendly, good service. We ordered at the truck and they brought us our lunches. Nice. This is a dog friendly spot so that was appreciated. It's the food that puts us in the category of unlikely to return. Two scallop plates. One with onion rings and one with fries. The heavy crust fell off the scallop when I cut a scallop in half. I was left with a naked scallop and a pile of crust. Muscle was still on a few of the scallops, never appetizing. But biggest issue was the tinny taste of the food. Onion rings also had the heavy coating and tinny taste. I ate a few of each item and left it at that. Done. So very much wanted to like this place. Maybe an off day but it will be a while before we try again.

Me and my husband stopped in for a lobster roll with butter and onion rings. The lobster was very good. The roll was on the small size. A bit more lobster in the roll would have been nice. The onion rings were amazing. The staff is friendly. There are tables inside to sit and eat.

Steamed lobster, lobster rolls, crab melt, oysters

What a phenomenal spot! We stopped by during our New England roadtrip and it has been one of our highlights so far. We had a steamed lobster dinner, lobster rolls, crab melt, and raw oysters - and every single thing was absolutely delicious. The people working here couldn't be any friendlier and welcoming. Highly, highly recommend for anyone looking for an authentic Maine experience and fresh, fantastic seafood.

Delicious and nice outdoor seating. Felt like you were a part of the city and community around. I got the fried haddock which was very tender and fried well. The lobster roll was very fresh, but it is only served cold which is why I took away a star. If you love coke lobster, come here for sure! There's an older guy who sings and he's very charming. Make sure you talk to him when you come.

I've went in looking for fresh fish, we got it and then some! The service was very nice and if you ask a question they know the answer. Very clean and beautiful building. We grabbed a roast beef sandwich to share in the car for the drive home. It had Swiss cheese and horseradish on it and I'm mad at myself for sharing. I will drive all the way back there from Thomaston just for that sandwich. We both loved it. Can't wait to try more food. We picked up some halibut and some lobster/corn chowder for dinner and didn't break the bank! Love this place

So this is stop #6 on the lobster roll journey! So let's start from the beginning. This place was highly recommend by bed and breakfast we stayed at so we decided to give a try. The haddock sandwich. Well bun or roll it was on tasted fresh made and was just perfect to stand up to the tarter sauce and fried haddock. Fish was fried perfectly and tender. Tarter sauce was simple yet tasty. Fried fresh clams were amazing as always! I have a thing for fresh fried clams... they are just so good. Lobster roll -- let's go negatives first. Bun wasn't toasted much and didn't have that butter flavor as soon as you bite it. Amount of lobster meat was the least we have received on the trip so far of any lobster roll. Positives! Lobster meat was extremely tender. Dressed with the perfect amount of mayo. Butter on the side so i can dip the roll in it made the lobster roll flavor tied for number 1 on the list. If only there was a toasted bun and slightly more lobster it it would have been the king of the mountain thus far! Check them out and see for yourself.

A couple bites into delicious Tuna Poke!

Delicious and unexpected options for "grab and go". All food is very fresh, Generous portions at very affordable prices nestled in an area that is not so wallet friendly. It's a fish market with a very good selection of extremely fresh seafood for sale. They do have some tables to sit. Food is served for take out and there are non-seafood options. More detail on the food descriptions... The hot sandwiches in grab and go looked good... breakfast sandwiches, and they had a pastrami rueben on grilled thick Italian bread, like Texas toast style. The bread is also probably the same as the fresh baked loaves they had for sale by the register. They have a menu to order burgers, chicken, subs, etc. The seafood chowder is the best we've ever had... stand a spoon up in it thick! The first bite had a chunk of fresh scallop, followed by fresh chunk of shrimp and had to search through the, of course, fresh haddock to find potato. The entire pint was packed with seafood. Next time we will get a fresh baked loaf of French bread to go with it! The daily special was Sushi! I picked the Tuna Poke bowl from the grab and go shelf. Fresh, crisp veggies lightly pickled over Sushi Rice with 2 types of sesame seeds. Generous servings of all fresh, delicious healthy food! We also picked the fried haddock and fried scallops. Loved the thin, extra crisp breading. The sea scallops were delicious fresh. The haddock was cut very well with large pieces you could still pick up to dip in the tarter sauce. Overall, we really enjoyed it and will make this a regular stop when we are passing through the area!

Great value for perfectly cooked fried scallops and chowders. Clam was great. The lobster corn chowder was superb. Real onion rings were a treat as well. The staff seem to enjoy working there and it shows.

Seeing it in the distance fills me with an overwhelming sense of excitement as it meant returning to one of my favorite hiking spots in New England (so far) and beginning a weeklong binge on Maine's freshest seafood. I absolutely love this tiny and unassuming (from the outside) seafood market and couldn't wait to be back again this year. Last year, it was the first stop to pick up ingredients for my weeklong visit to Acadia National Park. This year, after a whole year of telling anyone and everyone I knew visiting Acadia, it was once again my first stop after I started driving from Boston. Loaded Lobster Roll - check. They have fresh and frozen soups for sale, and a single refrigerator display of a few fine pieces of seafood. They do the lobster, too, of course. My wife made some awesome fish and chips with the haddock, had some beautiful sautéed scallops, and the soup was excellent. Was about $75 for everything, and we'd come back. The breakfast biscuit sandwich was THE BEST biscuit you will ever have the pleasure of enjoying. I went lighter and got a blueberry scone which was equally as delicious just satisfying my sweet tooth vs his savory one that morning. Anyway, we loved it so much while we were eating I went back inside and grabbed two more scones - a blueberry and fig/almond for us to have the following morning for sunrise at Cadillac.
