I love this little thrift shop! First, there is an entire room dedicated to vintage clothing, and its actual vintage, not a new tee from Walmart they distressed and slapped an mtv logo on it. lol. It's good quality and I often find pieces that are rare, stuff you can't find a million of online. Second, they buy your unwanted clothing items and issue you a store credit for them, and they're more than generous with the amount they give you, not like Plato's closet at all. They don't do cash, so if that is your goal best to stick with Plato's closet, but I always spend it in the store anyway, so it's a win win!
They also often have big sales for 50% off jeans, or BOGO, and they have $1 bin to dig through that I always find a few things I want. I've always had a good experience with the staff and the owner is amazing- she's friendly, inviting, down to earth, it's easy to have a conversation with her while casually shopping which is really rare.
Earlier this week I had my first negative experience there with an employee (who no longer works there, it was apparently her last day), and I left without buying the items I wanted because of it. I contacted her and she made it right immediately, apologized, said she would speak with her and got my items and held them behind the counter for me to pick up a few days later when I could.
I could say a lot more but you get the idea. If you're looking to just thrift for clothes and accessories, bring down your unwanted items and see what you get to spend, you won't regret it! :) read more
