Life Church has 3 Sunday morning services. 8:30, 10 and 11:30. I attended the 10:00am service. A few things took me by surprise. In order. 1) During the offering the pastor stated that if anyone was food insecure or had no place to stay to reach into the bucket being passed and take cash out if they needed it for food and or shelter. That is the first time in my entire life I have ever heard a pastor say that. That is such a true Biblical form of worship. Just beautiful. 2) When the sermon began I was so surprised to see the pastor was being broadcast on all 3 screens. I didn't see that coming and I was kind of curious where the pastor went? Mainly I was curious if I was watching a recording or a live sermon? Where did he go? 3) I brought my Bible with me but the lights in the sanctuary were never turned on at any point so I didn't open it because of course I wouldn't have been able to see it anyway. The pastor had specific Bible verses pop up on all 3 of his screens as he highlighted them at certain points. He was very engaging as he discussed the book of Ruth in the Old Testament. I didn't stop at the counter but it looks like after service they hand out packaged snacks and cups of iced tea. That's very nice.

Highstreet is great for the whole family! Kidstreet, Youth, Young Adults, Married, Engaged, seniors, and everyone younger, older, and in between! The worship leader Josh Thompson I have known for 20 years, we go back to Calvary Temple. Recently Pastor Josh became the head Pastor and can NOT get enough of his teaching. He IS spit on, non judgemental in everyway. More full of Joy and live fir everyone. I came back about 6 months ago, girst Sunday I heard tge bews of his elevation in duties. He is such an annointed Worship leader, he is missed in that role. If l hadn't known him for so long, I'd think he truely is a Angel of God. Pastor Gary was wonderful to, but in his words...Josh is going to take us higher, where l could not...(that may not be word for word, but believe it to be) It takes a big man to pass on the torch of Hope to another & admire Gary for seeing the giftings Josh has. The entire church is welcoming, friendly. A very large addition for our babies to young adults, was finished recently. This investment has shown that HOPE stands up to its name, our children are the Hope for the future. Praise our creator for HOPE CHURCH. Come, Wedsday evening at 5, we have a wonderful homemade dinner in the FAMILY CENTER with worship and prayer service at 6:30. Sunday morning there are 2 services 8:30 & 10:30am.
