They really make efforts in making you feel seen, known, and welcomed: Especially if you have kids 5th grade + make sure you tell a staff about all the wonderful opportunities for that age group. Super friendly and welcoming church. If you're visiting reach out to a staff and let them know how to help you get connected! No one should walk into a church and feel alone. The connections pastor did a phenomenal job in making our whole family feel seen and known. We really enjoyed the worship and service. It's a great space and many opportunities to grow and connect. A close friend and his wife recently faced a heartbreaking ultimatum. When she tried to compromise by attending her husband's church half the time, North Central told her she could no longer serve. It is clear that if they don't have your attention (and your tithes/offerings) 100% of the time, they don't want you. Key Issues: Greed-Driven: It feels less like a ministry and more like a money-making business. Controlling Leadership: They use guilt and manipulation to keep members from supporting other local congregations. LSCC transformed my relationship with Jesus Christ. My husband and I, and our children are all…read moreCatholic, and were devoted parishioners until COVID shut down Masses. I wanted my family in church, and through a series of events we found LSCC. That little church community revolutionized my marriage, my children's walk with Christ, my friendships -- I could go on & on. It frightens me to think that I could have gone my whole life thinking I was a "good Christian" when I was so very far from being "all in" with Christ. Randy is the REAL DEAL, and if I could be half the woman Darla is, I'd be doing great! I saw a review stating that the church wasn't Bible believing/teaching, and with all due respect, that simply isn't true. In fact, Randy didn't even plan on being a preacher, he just wanted to have a really good community Bible study, and it blew up. That's right, the entire church started out as a Bible study. Honestly, I feel if time wasn't a constraint, Randy (and the other pastors) could preach for HOURS and we'd all be glued to the lesson. The "Digging Deep" Bible study is offered before church (and during the week) and takes you further and more richly into the Scriptures that surround Sunday's services. In fact, I grew up in traditional Protestant and Catholic Churches, and it wasn't until I started to attend LSCC that I actually studied and understood the Bible. The services are honest, timely, Biblical, and I can count on one hand how many times I made it through one of Pastor Randy, Pastor Amber or Pastor Rob's sermons without bawling my eyes out. To that end, it was the first place I ever audibly heard the voice of God. I had authentically felt the presence of the Lord, but never heard Him. And, to be honest, I always made fun of/questioned folks saying "God told me...", until it happened to me, right there in LSCC. And, I'm not the only one...I've seen hardened veterans, big burley cow hands, little old ladies and 7 year old children all walk down the aisle with tears in their eyes as they accepted Jesus into their hearts. The Next Gen program (lead by Pastor Amber) is mind blowingly amazing. My three year old's only fits were when we'd tell him it was time to leave Sunday school. My six year old accurately and contextually quotes Scripture. Also, I teach high schoolers who attend LSCC and they are all authentically pursuing their Great Commission. So, if you have kiddos and you care about their walk, get them to LSCC ASAP. We're now in Montana, and the absolute hardest part of leaving Texas wasn't leaving family and friends, though that was hard, it was leaving LSCC. We cried during after our last service there, and bawled some more when Pastor Amber prayed over our family as she said her goodbyes. We now go to church in-person here, but watch the LSCC online service on Monday mornings, because nothing here compares to the message and Great Commission work being done at that little Cowboy church in Montgomery, TX. If you want a REAL, all in, unbridled, unfiltered relationship with the Lord, and a community and leadership to help you get there, Lone Star Cowboy Church is where it's at.

It is fantastic! The messages are on point and never go too long. The pastor is energetic and has so much passion for the word of God. I knew I was at the right place when I got there on my first Sunday! The great thing about it is The Crossing is 5 minutes from my home and that makes it very convenient. But if I lived an hour away, I would make the drive to be part of this church community.

Being a Muslim myself I had no doubt that employees of any church would mistreat me. Right then an angry white lady came out of her car and said with a tone of full of hatred "You've got to go from here, now! The Food Pantry is around the corner on the other side of the church. Go from here!" She tried her best to humiliate me. I did not need any food from her. I am not a needy. Her purpose was to degrade me. It is a shame on the church for having such employees. We ended up first attending Real Life on a Easter service. I think this church is beyond amazing. They are welcoming and very open. The pastor has excitement about the messages he gives and has a great sense of humor. Which I absolutely love. I learn best from someone who has excitement. I was concerned how they would handle my son because he is on the autism spectrum. They did a wonderful job. I loved how they have a sensory room available. It has helped acclimate him to the church. There is so much wonderful things about this church. Anyone considering this church should definitely give it a go. You won't be disappointed.
