When I think of how lucky we are to receive the gifts of Jvala's work here, I feel humbled and…read moretender and in awe of her service. We enjoy a great privilege having a world-class practitioner like this accessible to our community.
The first time I crawled into one of Jvala's sound healing events, I felt spiritually and physically wretched. She welcomed me with a warm smile and a "Jai Ma!", and after that one first sounding, I was committed to regularly attending her sound baths as an essential part of my wellness routine and long-term healing. That was three years ago, and I am only more deeply grateful now. I always leave Jvala's soundings feeling more human, more whole, and more connected to the benevolent divine spirit of life. If there was a hurt, it has been soothed; a confusion, clarified. Often, something powerful would click back into place in my body or spirit afterwards, some lost fragment coming back online, or an energetic flow coming unblocked. I could suddenly finish a creative project, or find my joy after a drought. Over time, as my healing has deepened, the effects feel just as deep and less dramatic. I leave feeling realigned, reconnected, with a calm sense of presence and wonder and contentment. It is a treat to linger afterwards and hear her answer questions, or to offer service cleaning the floor or wiping down yoga mats, just to spend extra time in the healing vibrations, and to give back in some way, after receiving so much.
Jvala's guiding words before and after the sounding often feel as important as the sound itself: in addition to immersive meditative guidance, she offers words of true spiritual leadership, granting perspective, comfort, wisdom, and inspiration, all so deeply needed by the collective at the time.
Jvala is a healer of healers. At her events, you will run into many of the local healing and wellness professionals, skilled and successful in their own right, coming to Jvala to refill their own cups. I get the sense that each time she performs a sound healing, she is lifting up the entire community, and doing us all a service far greater than we can adequately compensate. (Please give as generously as you are able!)
Jvala can contribute at this level because she is a sound yogi who has walked the true seeker's path, and offers a true healer's craft, more than any other practitioner I have encountered in this town defined by its spiritual connections, healers, and artists. Jvala has lived in the caves of India, studied cosmic secrets with a beloved guru, and communed with the sacred waters of the Ganges River. She left that spiritual paradise to come and give service to us here in America. What she brings with her is an opportunity to be touched and replenished by a taste of the pure God-connection. When we receive Jvala's work, we receive something holy and priceless.
Jvala is also a truly competent professional, giving attentive extra care whenever it is needed, and truly knows what she is doing. She provides the experience of being safely held in calm, expert hands. I have never seen her work from ego, nor for recognition, but only for the devotion of the work itself. She frequently attracts praise and admiration, as anyone operating at a high vibrational energy exchange would, and she either humbly laughs it off with warm gratitude, or joins in the genuine excitement of what the sound and its energetics can do.
Jvala is a very cool person who can do very cool stuff with sound. Prepare to have a new experience!
I offer this review in deepest gratitude for the immeasurable gifts I've received from knowing Jvala and her work. I pray that she receive blessings equal to her contribution, if that is possible.
Om Shanti!
