After I told them I was Gay they immediately got upset and got up from the chairs and were trying to pray for me and told me I was living in sin and that I had a spirit of confusion. I felt disrespected so I left. Then I returned years later in the early 2020's and after hearing the pastor give such a transphobic sermon insulting and making fun of Transgender people I realized that the members of this church were full of ignorance, hate, discrimination, homophobia and transphobia so I never returned back. This church IS NOT LGBTQIA+ friendly at all.

They have many incredible spiritual development classes, free sound healing events, and wonderful events (blessing of pets, holiday parties, etc). The congregation feels like a second family. The music is non-traditional (Somewhere Over the Rainbow, etc) and the mediums give such uplifting messages. This church is a gem, and I am grateful to have found it.

I stood up and walked up in front of the whole congregation not knowing what to expect. He asked me , "Is your name Indira?" I said "yes" then he said "you have problem sleeping because the enemy is attacking you." He then put his hand on my head and prayed. Then I noticed the whole congregation was also praying for me. When he was done I went back to my seat. What a miracle! How did he know my name and my sleeping problem? We were never introduced nor I told my problem to any of the staff in church. Clearly God told him. The Holy Spirit is present in the church. The word of God is being preached. Bishop Quacy Smith is anointed and gifted. The experience I just had increased my faith in God. There are plenty of smaller communities within this church which shows its diversity. There's a Filipino Community, Mexican Community, Samoan Community, African-American Community. I also know that the Filipino Community offers these novena prayers upon request where they bring a Mama Mary to your house for a few days 'til it's the next person's turn on the list. They have different choirs for different mass times and occasionally, they also have masses that are influenced by one of the church communities. I remember coming to a mass that was partially in Samoan and the music was amazing. I personally come here on Sundays for the 11 o'clock mass and their choir for the 11 o'clock mass is my favorite! It's the African-American group and their style is soulful and almost similar to that southern baptist sound. I love coming to church during the lenten season (or any season for that matter) to see the new decor at the alter that change very frequently. The African priest is also my favorite; he changed my entire church experience. Overall, I invite you to come in on Sundays at 11AM! It's something to see for yourself.
