Sam Calhoun, Pastor, guides a service opened by professional worship musicians Chuck and Laurie Lewis. Christ Followers and Fence Sitters alike are welcome at WHCC, with the church offering several Bible Studies and Classes, amid childcare and many other resources. The church has several community connections for families in need. It is my personal desire to return to Windsor Hills soon, with my scheduling and all. We have visited Windsor Hills Community Church 3 times so far. We are not sure if Windsor Hills Community Church is the one we will be attending but it is definitely one that needs to be considered by anyone new to Christianity or that have been a Christian for a while and are looking for a new location for whatever reason. Windsor Hills is the only church of the three we have visited that I have felt compelled to write a review about. Positives: Pastor Sam is well grounded in the Bible and provides thought stimulate sermons that are both interesting and easy to lesson too. It is in a turnaround church so do not expect to be lost in a crowd as this has just started this process. However there are enough people attending to give it a warm ambiance. There is a real mixture of ages and races attending which surprised and pleased us. The people are friendly and we have been greeted warmly each time we have attended. The Praise Band provides a time for prayer and praise to our Lord though lifting our voices to Him in song. Cons: My back ground is Independent Christian Church and I feel more comfortable in communion every Sunday. They hold communion monthly and not weekly. While weekly communion is not Biblical requirement, I prefer celebrating what the Lord has done for me each week through celebrating commuion. Overall, I think it is a church that anyone in the area that is looking should attend a few times and some of you will decide it is the church you want to call home. The day we went, Bishop Joel Trout was the speaker and it was DYNAMIC!!! They have a praise team (which I'm not used to because we still have good ole Praise and Testimony service on Sundays). The Branch Fellow Ship has their Sunday service at 7pm and bible study at 6:30 on Wednesdays. We have been coming for a few weeks now and love it. The church is small and intimate, about 15-25 people, but that doesn't mean that God is not working. Pastor Leonard and his wife Kat are so humble, real, and are spirit led. They really care about you here. The teachings are from the word and you can truly feel the presence of God here. My husband and I left our old church 5 years ago (our first church experience) and we were so let down by the pastor there and the church as a whole that it made us not only leave the church but also the faith. We tried here and there to find a church but could never find a church that felt like "home" until we visited the Branch. If you are looking for a spirit led, non-denominational, warm, friendly, loving, and small church, then check out the Branch Fellowship.
