The presence of the fruits of God's loving spirit is spread all across this Church. I was very impressed with the many opportunities that are in place to help with your spiritual practices, growth, relationships, and faith. There are many ongoing classes and programs set up for all age groups from childhood to adulthood during the week. It was also a delight for me to be able to worship in a very diverse environment which is not easy to find. Diversity is certainly in Heaven and it should be in God's house of worship on this Earth. Which is how God created his people. Pastor Micah does an excellent job of explaining the scriptures and speaking on behalf of our Father in Heaven. The worship and praise music was perfect. Great place for anyone looking for a Church Family.

This is what a church is meant to be. In addition to two Sunday worship services, there is a wonderful kids ministry with great programming (like Awanas and VBS), small groups, classes, studies, volunteer opportunities, support, prayer, etc.

I have been going to Crossroad Fellowship for about 2 years now. they have 2 locations, one in raleigh on millbrook road, and one in wake forest. The wake forest location had been meeting in a school until they were recently given an opportunity to move into a church building that already existed. While the location they are in looks like a traditional church, don't be fooled. Crossroads is less traditional and more, forgive the wording contemporary. You won't find an organ and hymnals inside, but you do find imperfect people who are striving to worship and serve God with all their heart. it's always good to remember the church isn't a building, but the people who are in it. Pastor Andy is the campus pastor for wake forest. He has a great sense of humor and keeps you engaged while still challenging your thoughts and encouraging you to grow in Christ. Small groups are available, which are vitally important when trying to become apart of a larger community. I really this is a great church, with great people. Be involved in a small group and you'll find a great sense of community. Community is important when living the Christian life b/c life gets hard sometimes, and it's nice to know you have a good support system around you. I would encourage anyone to come and visit! services are at 830, 10, and 1130. And earplugs are available (although my husband, who usually has worn earplugs to church says he doesn't need them here)!

We've lived in WF since 2006 and have gone to a local church for years but it has become a bit too large for us, so we wanted to find a smaller church. Being a catholic and an Episcopalian (me and hubby respectively), we've decided we just want a church that is welcoming and has a good message. We decided to give Hope Lutheran a try as we loved the message, the similarities to our churches growing up and of course, our history with the school. The church itself is beautiful, the ushers were very welcoming to us visitors and overall the feeling was very warm. We went to the Saturday night 5:30 service which is the more casual service. We enjoyed the pastor's sermon very much and the general family-friendly feel. We plan on visiting again and maybe Hope Lutheran will become our new church home!

Although it's a large congregation, the pastors are quick to learn the names of newcomers. The congregation is caring and welcoming with a desire to serve others through love and hospitality. Children and young families are a central focus for the work of the church, yet, even old folks like me feel cherished. If you are looking for a place to worship God, to work for God's coming kingdom, and to serve your community and world, look no further. Hope is that place.
