Have been here twice and had a great experience both times! Once was a busy Friday evening when we…read morewere still able to grab two seats at the bar and have our drinks within a minute. The bar staff are very friendly and attentive. This place doesn't look like much from the road, but the inside is decorated with string lights and industrial style furniture and decor. On my second visit, I was able to sample a few things from the menu and I loved all of them! The double smashburger was juicy and cheesy, the rattlesnake bites were lightly breaded and super creamy, and the wings were perfectly sauced and crispy. The buffalo sauce wasn't the level of heat we were looking for, but the flavor was still nice. Each thing came out as soon as it was ready. So, nothing ran the risk of getting cold.

Boy, does this place have great reviews! Sadly, based on my first--and last--visit, I'm afraid I…read morehave to disagree. The bar is connected directly to an ax throwing place. While there is signage--very drab signage--for the ax throwing business, trying to find signage for the bar, whose name differs from the ax place, is nearly impossible. I wouldn't have found the bar at all if Siri hadn't directed me to the ax place. There sure isn't anything on the outside that would draw in new customers to the bar-- had I not been determined, I never would've noticed it. Inside is okay. Nothing particularly outstanding to make the place pop, but okay. There's a medium sized bar, a long counter with chairs lined up, and a couple tables. I would call that long counter counter-productive (sorry, I couldn't resist!). It faces the outside wall, so one would have to swivel around to watch any of the tvs, and it's sure not conducive to conversation. I sat at the bar. The one stellar part of my visit was the bartender, I'm sorry I didn't get her name, who was very welcoming, friendly and competent. Somewhat oddly, I felt, is that their taps have no popular domestic beers like Bud, Miller, etc. Those domestic beers are relegated to cans or bottles. On the taps were maybe six mostly flavored beers. I'm a Miller Light kinda girl, but I asked to try a couple of those on tap, and the bartender was very gracious in allowing me to sample 2 of the on-taps. I ended up ordering the shandy, which wasn't bad. Once. I didn't order a second one. From the menu... I was pleased to see breaded, fried cauliflower, a favorite of mine, with a double smash cheeseburger. The cauliflower was the highlight of my food, tasty, perfectly fried, beautifully crispy. The smash burger was a real disappointment. Okay, let me hear from everyone now, why do we love smash burgers?? That's right, those wonderful crispy edges! Sadly, no crispy edges on this one. The 2 patties were also, somehow, cooked unevenly. One was well-done, the other medium. The flavor would have been good on a regular cheeseburger, but man, without those crispy edges, it really fell flat. My 3 star rating was due to the friendly bartender and the cauliflower. Otherwise, not so much even 3 stars. So...I tried, really, but nothing there will really bring me running back.
