I have tried every car service in Kingston they all have left me waiting hourS, not one Kingston kabs let me wait 2 hours at night in the rain with my 4 yo, all Marie would say is he's on his way 10 minutes hon. I HAVE USED GRAB A CAB THREE TIMES AND I HAVE MADE MY DRS. APPT, THEY WERE STRAIGHT WITH ME ON THE TIME, NOT ONLY DID THE DRIVER SHOW UP ON TIME, SHE WAS POLITE TALKING UP HER COMPANY AND EVEN THOUGH SHE could have joined in on my rant about the horrible service I've had with other companies, she just complemented grab a cab. the car was clean, LEAH, the driver was great. thank you for a great trip GRAB A CAB. read more

So I received a message from a yelp user whom I can only assume works for the cab company claiming my review was false. However, if she took the time to read the other reviews which were along a similar vein to what I wrote. Further most Julie "complimented" my review and reported it to yelp to be removed. Her compliment read as follows and I quote: "Just J. left a compliment for your review of Grab a Cab 'I am sorry for the confusion, however, NONE of my drivers recognize you nor have heard a complaint, further more our drivers are equipped with in car credit card runners, i am not sure who you mean to review but im pretty sure it wasn't us! Please call our office and ask for Julie, I would be more than happy to resolve this issue for you if in fact it is us!'" To add insult to injury she then left a 5 start review in her own company's page. Finally for clarification: 1. the cab that picked me up both times was a white car with "Grab A Cab" painted in yellow in the side 2. Like I said in my review I had to pay OVER THE PHONE both times I unfortunately had to use this company 3. I reviewed multiple cab companies that week because I had to suffer through several bad experiences for my business trip and people from out of town need to know what they are going to experience. read more

I had an important doctor appt. scheduled medical transportation. A week in advance. The cab never came no one at the company would answer my phone call had to cancel my appointment, very poor business ethics and unreliable service. You can't depend on them, any decent company would have showed the courtesy of calling to let the person know they couldn't do the run, or at least had someone to answer the phone anyway. read more

I have only taken this cab service 1 time. As a person who is looking for good cab service in this area I will certainly be taking them again and updating my review if needed. First I found dispatch to be friendly. We requested a cab for 6pm on a Saturday night so I called about 2 hours ahead of time. I was called to confirm the time and again when the driver arrived, on time. The driver was very friendly. I forget his name but he has served our country in the military. Cab was clean and the price was comparable to other services in the area. I will try them out again. I'm hoping this is a reliable cab company in the area. It sucks when you try to be responsible and can't find a way home. read more

DO NOT RECOMMEND!! SHITTY SHITTY SHITTY!! If I could avoid giving it one star I would give it no stars. Had to use them to get home with my son, the lady insisted I need to put my stroller in the truck, which I use a small umbrella stroller and never put in the trunk with any cab. There was plenty of room inside the taxi I could've kept it beside me. Afterwards I realized I forgot it because usually it's right beside me. The company would not return my stroller afterwards unless I pay for ANOTHER trip for them to bring it out to me. The lady on the phone was SO rude to my aunt after my aunt told her that the driver insisted it goes in the truck. THEY STILL HAVE MY STROLLER AND WONT BRING IT UNLESS I PAY THEM. I tried to get a cab with this company twice over the past two days. Each time, they have said that we reserved a ride, but when the time came they didn't show up. They said they called us, but they did not. We had to call them to find out they weren't showing up. We had our phones on us the entire time. It is an extremely frustrating experience to have such a limited cab selection in town and to have the cab you believe you secured not show up TWICE IN A ROW. It's bad enough that they charge $65 to go a total of 6 minutes down the road, but I can look past that -- the fact that they don't even show up when you do everything in your power to book them is completely unacceptable. I would give this company ZERO stars if I could! I am so furious! read more

They are the worst cab service ever! The lady who operates is extremely rude and they are always always late! When she says the cab comes in half an hour that literally means the cab comes after at least one hour of not later! Very unreliable and unfriendly. Worst cab experience I have ever had! read more

I wish I could pick NO stars.I took this cab for the first time July 3rd 2017. From Trailways in Kingston to Tivoli n.y. I have taken this same ride in different taxis and it is a 40 dollar fee- ALWAYS! So, I didn"t question the fee, because I aleady knew . Arrive at my house and am told it is a 65 dollar fee OUTRAGEOUS. I talk to the dispatcher who told my theOWNER said because its a holiday, its an additional fee. Gee she must be smart because I never knew the 3rd was a holiday. I talked to my regular taxi service and he was SHOCKED He said there is no such fee and to give him the business card. and he will handle it. By the way, this was no limo. It was a minivan with numerous stains on the floor. Message to nice boy who drove me QUIT!!! read more

Horribly rude customer service! Avoid using them! After overcharging our company I tried to find out why it happened since the quote they originally provided was less than half the final price they ended up charging. I was keep calling them very politely only to get an explanation. They were saying that the owner is not available but they are investigating the case. Two month later - the same person who I have been talking to over the phone every time I called (recognized her voice already) -finally said, well I should say yelled, that she was the one taking the order and I used the car on that day twice that is the double charge. Obviously, if it was the case I would not spend time keep calling them since the money/time I spent on the phone was more that the overcharge but it was a company expense and I needed explanation for accounting purposes. Choose KINGSTON KABS instead who are extremely polite, very accommodating and much cheaper. read more
