She told me they never received any application or money order but because I took pictures and kept the money order receipt And telling her what I did She had no choose but to investigate and stop lying She said she would call me back with an answer she had to find out what's going on She never called back I called her three times She finally answered the phone telling me She talked to the maintenance man they lost the application they found the money order.so after I requested my money back She claimed I should have called earlier my application had expired and the apartment I looked at has been tooken. I filled out the application Thursday the following Monday I called her but that was to late? Yeah right She claimed she cannot give me my money back I can refill out another application she will waive the fee and put me on a waiting list and the other apartment that will be available at a later time but the apartment will be a higher price.which I couldn't afford After stating I do not want to fill out another app and I do not want the other apartment or be placed on a waiting list She claimed she had to talk to her husband to see if I can get my money Back. In addition to that, I encountered a break-in to which the property owner did not respond with implementing bars on the windows or adding any additional safety measures. However, despite this Rentwell's response to handling my concerns was very prompt. The contractor that was at my place doing work after move in was very professional and transparent with everything he was doing. More so, after the burglary, Rentwell came and changed all the locks and kept in contact with any issues I had. Specifically, Albiana Casey from Rentwell provided me with excellent customer service. She was very prompt with contacting me when I reached out. She diligently worked with me to ensure owner negotiations with lease changes went smoothly. She was a big advocator for me as a renter. If it was not for her support and dedication to ensuring my comfortability, I would have probably broken my lease after the burglary.

They refused to change any of the egregious terms in the lease to match standard lease agreements. They insist on charging tenants for broken appliances and closet/shower door tracts. These are standard landlord repairs. They even have a $75 maintenance fee each time they set out a service repair. They say they submeter tenants for water usage but under no set fee amount. If its by use then what water use rate? They insist tenants replace HVAC filters every 3 months? Landlords do that and don't know any that say every 3 months. Fees upon fees upon fees...

While I love my unit I am amazed that there are homeowner fees to live here. The elevator has NEVER…read moreseen a lysol wipe. 25 dogs, people cleaning up poop and who knows what that is on all of the walls but never the evidence of a fresh clean wipe down. DO NOT touch the buttons!! The 'cleaning' people vaccum faithfully over the carpet stains weekly and never disturb the spider webs in the railings and corners. Since the halls don't have windows you pray for some carpet fresh to ward off the smell of closed - upness and I don't care what they say, someone in this building does restaurant prep, I'll bet the board of health will agree once they smell the building. I can name the dishes every week and it starts at 11pm....yum nauseating and no sleep. When mentioned to the office how I almost vomit every Thursday at 3am from the overpowering smell, I am told it's because of the many ethnicities in the building. Do not call me when I put chitterlings in a crockpot on low and leave for the day/weekend. Lastly, no one seems to be concerned about the poor dog that whimpers, yaps & whines ALL HOURS ALL THE TIME. When trying to address it with the office there is no real solution offered. I am so flustered because I love my place and who wants to move becuase Sasquatch won't act like they live above humans and the restuarant people leave their dog barking and yapping ALL DAY LONG. I often forget this is a condo and not apartment but it could be worse, at least there are no rodents & roaches in this building.
