We had Gourmet mini donuts bring their hot mini donut cart to our wedding last week, and it was an absolute HIT! Everyone loved them!! the donuts were warm, fresh, and so delicious. It was so much more fun and interactive than just having a regular dessert table or cake. We loved that guests could add different toppings and drizzle chocolate syrup over their donuts, it made it such a fun and customizable experience! Felicia & Haley who were running the cart were so sweet, professional, and truly amazing to work with. Their communication was great before, during and after ! they always got back to us quickly and made everything so easy. They were such a highlight of our day, and we're so happy we chose them. I'll definitely be booking them again for another event because they were just that good! Highly recommend! THANK YOU GIRLS SO MUCH read more

We hired Gourmet Mini Donuts for my sister's baby shower and I cannot say enough good things about them! We had a few power issues (not due to them) throughout the day and Felicia and Haley were SO patient with us. It was a hot day, but they kept a smile on their face and were so welcoming and sweet with all of our guests. And the donuts.....the DONUTS....AH-MAZING! Our guests kept going back for more and were so impressed by the variety and the taste. Their set up was so cute and inviting. We cannot wait to hire them again! read more

so first of all, their set up is adorable. they have such an attention to detail that i love - super intentional with their tablescape and decor that just adds so much to the experience. second, their donuts are delish. they have such fun flavors - my personal favorite is the matcha strawberry (all homemade the day of... like what? yes, please!) but all of their flavors are incredible. it's so fun to watch their machine working as well. definitely adds to the fun. finally, the owners - they are so nice, so fun - and they are best friends from childhood. you can totally feel the care and love they put into their product. the effort they put into making their experience special is always noticeable. they are perfect for any event. you really can't go wrong with gourmet mini donuts! read more

My Wife and I chose GMD for our April 22' wedding desert vendor. They setup in a corner of the winery our reception was at with the fryer and all the toppings you could ever want. They had more than enough staff to keep up with everyone's request so no one was ever really waiting in line too long. Our guest kept saying to us how much they loved the mini donuts rather than a cake. Thank you for being part of a day we will never forget :) read more

I cannot express how thankful I am for the service that Sharlyn and Jerry "The Donut People" provided at our community Halloween party. They created a beautiful display and even decorated their set up with Halloween decorations (without request). They also dressed up with very creative costumes!! They served about 150 people over 2 hours - not an easy job! I received many compliments on how delicious the donuts were and how friendly Sharlyn and Jerry were as well. Please don't hesitate to use Gourmet Mini Donuts at your next event - totally worth it and excellent service!! read more

This specialty vendor came highly recommended from my wedding venue. Sharlyn Spates of Gourmet Mini Donuts was a true professional and a delight to work with. First of all, I want to say that the couple behind these donuts are AMAZING people! They are so loving and kind and really put so much love into their beautiful little sweet treats. Now onto the donuts!!! Where do I even begin?? I was lucky enough to try these little gems at a tasting event at Wiens winery. They were SO delicious, I had to sneak in for a second serving! The donuts are made FRESH and come out perfectly cooked right in front of you. There were some delicious toppings that you could dress your donuts with such as: chocolate, maple (incredible), strawberry, coconut flakes, m&ms... just to name a few. Everyone at the event LOVED the donuts and simply couldn't get enough of them. I HIGHLY recommend this company to come out to any event you are hosting if you really want to wow your guests! read more

I am the wedding and events director for Mount Palomar Winery and we could not have been more pleased to have Gourmet Mini Donuts and Sharlyn & Jerry as one of our happy couples vendors. They were on time, made sure every detail was attended to, and had the most delicious donuts. The smell the entire reception was amazing!! I don't write reviews very often, but others should know to proceed with caution with this company. First off, the donuts were great, and the set up was perfect. But...three days before my event they basically messaged me and asked for more money or told me I could cancel because of the distance they had to drive. Mind you, I had a contract and already paid extra for being out of their usual area, but "due to gas prices" they needed an additional $150.00. Given that I had a contract, I could have fought it as they had no right to do this, but given my daughters wedding was in three days and they were our only dessert, I decided just to pay. They also asked for more money to set up earlier than they had expected, but our day of coordinator had already come up with a solution with them several weeks earlier. So it pretty much felt like they just didn't want to handle our event. Thankfully they did show up on time and they were delicious. read more
