Either (1) go through the immigration courts for asylum or (2) go through the immigration offices with our family petitions. He mentioned that he would recommend that we bank on the second option. When I asked a couple clarifying questions to understanding why option 2 was better, and our approval chances for the family petition, he exclamed that he did not know if we would win or not. We sat in shock as he then when on a rant about that it was rude to interupt with questions and proceded to kick us out of his office.
