I was illegally removed as manager using a fraudulent altered operating agreement. In 2020/21, I began investigating the altered property titles, the lack of a police report for the stolen timber, and stolen mineral rights by forgery. My request for an investigation was ignored and I was bullied by this attorney for my signature despite telling him that there had been a timber theft on the property. I felt threatened with his threats of legal action.

I hired Mr. Ward to do a child support modification in 2021 and he was more than happy to take the…read more$3500 retainer. It's been more than 2 years and countless emails. He constantly tells me it will be done and never follows through. Any time he's requested information I've provided it within 24-48 hours and he constantly said it was done and he would get with me to explain the details. I'm to the point now that I'm going to file a formal complaint with the TN Board of Professional Responsibility. Unfortunately I didn't read the reviews but believed that a local attorney would be sufficient seeing as it was a simple modification and I've always believed in supporting local businesses. I've gotten excuse after excuse on why documents were never filed or why I wasn't updated. I've had my accounts seized, my drivers license and freedom threatened because he has failed to follow through on anything he promised. I continued paying the state what I was told was the appropriate amount by Mr. Ward just to get a letter saying I was $20,000 in arrears! Of course when I contacted him with that information he told me nothing was ever submitted but he would look into it. I guess as long as he continues taking his retaining fees and provides no services it's not his freedom that's in jeopardy. I'm not going to let anyone else be taken advantage of by Mr. Ward or his shady law practice without letting the state know everything that I've had to deal with. If you are looking for an attorney I would highly encourage you to stay clear of this law firm. I wouldn't trust him to draft a contract with a goldfish! If this was any other consumer business I would demand a full refund because of services not rendered. It's like buying an expensive item just to find out it broken but the store won't take it back or exchange it. I ended working with Attorney Raynor. We had a great consultation, of course. Long story short, my case ended up being out of state and when I asked for my retainer balance, no one would return my phone calls or emails....period....to this day. So they kept about 4K of my money and me and my child have been homeless so yes, they only get one star and I say buyer beware.
