I removed the railing from his stairs and brought it to Weldfab off a recommendation from trailer outfit. When I arrived a young mad greeted me at the door and I explained that I needed the base welded to the rail and further explained I was leaving for home first thing in the morning and it was imperative that this project was complete. He assured me it would be done by 4 pm. I phoned right around 2 pm to see if we were on schedule and the woman on the phone said it would be done between 3:30 pm and 4 pm and she would call me. I returned to the shop at 4 pm to see it was closed... I called the number back and the phone and could hear it ringing behind the closed shop doors. I waited for over half an hour.. no phone call, nobody showed up. Left hanging without the rail I need to get re-installed before I leave in a few hours. This is a horrible way to run a business and I would never refer anyone to this shop... I don't have the rail, contact with the ship personnel, or a clue of how this is even going to get fixed now.. Extremely frustrated and upset that a little Shop doesn't care about the permanent fixtures withing this small community.
