cwprice company used my property to cut trees on my neighbors property. at no time did cw price…read morecompany secure permission from the owners to use my property. i returned home and found several large trucks in my driveway. i told brett price he did not have my permission to be on my property and that his equipment would damage my driveway and he needed to leave. he said" i was told you would be cranky". which i found disrespectful and rude. it took in excess of 20 minutes to remove all the equipment from my driveway so i could pull in off the street and park my truck. 2 days later i checked my property and noticed large ruts in the lawn, fresh cracks in the asphalt and the driveway was covered in sawdust, pine cones, tree bark and wood chips. meeting was set to discuss damages and i see both brett and the neighbor walking behind my garage. dont know why they were on my property again without permission. brett price denied responsibility for the damages to my asphalt driveway. i said "im not going to argue with you have your insurance rep contact me by business close Friday". i gave him my contact info and requested he have his insurance company contact me. CWPrice company made no attempt to fix the damage caused by their heavy equipment. CWPrice made no attempt to adequate clean up their mess left on my property, i finally spent 4 hours cleaning up after them. two weeks have passed and still no attempt by the company to fix the damage they caused, even after several emails and comments on their Facebook page. i would give Zero stars if possible.

He eyed up the situation and gave us a price & approx. time (within a week or so). It was in our budget and time frame, and we agreed to the estimate. Unfortunately the weather didn't agree with the timeline (the winds were CRAZY STRONG) and we had to wait another week - but I rather safety come first - and that is a priority with Burds too. (Since I am in the service industry I know that customers can wig-out about this, we did not, and Burds were MORE THAN accommodating and attentive to our text). 3/27/25 was the day, they said 7:30 a.m. - and they were early (to my delight!) I wasn't able to stay and watch since I had an appointment then work. They were completed roughly at 10:20 a.m. - and everything was cleaned up nicely. When I got home that evening I was so happy that I didn't have to worry about branches falling in my driveway, or this huge tree falling on my house. It just sorta pushed over the dirt and it became mountain-like in some areas and grass stopped growing (at least temporarily... we'll see overall). No apology was made on this and his response was that "I'm trying to take advantage". BEWARE: Before the job begins, he should provide a document from his insurance company recognizing you as his client. This is not what he may prefer to do even if he knows to do the right thing. Also, a disclosure on the fact that no debris cleanup would be made on my deck and roof was never discussed. It would have been nice for him to tell me (disclose) the mess to expect after the tree is cut, because my tree hovered over the front of the house. advise that I'd have to hire someone else to clean up the hefty job. No warning about the in between deck slabs either. I would have preferred disclosures to put tarps like painters do over affected areas, and perhaps it should have been a courtesy on his part.
