I waited and waited and he never showed. I thought I would give him the benefit of the doubt and rescheduled it for the following Saturday. Again, he never showed up. Both times he did not call to say he was not coming. When I texted him to find out what was going on, he was extremely rude, did not apologize and acted like I was bothering him. So now I have bushes to replant and huge rocks to move out of the culvert back onto the driveway by myself...thanks Mike for sticking to your word...Do NOT hire this person...your landscaping will thank you for it.

Ronnie came and provided multiple estimates and discussed our needs/wants, he was extremely responsive and easy to communicate with. Eventually, we agreed on the scope of the project and work began in early May with an expected timeline of about a month: driveway expansion, install drywall/drainage and landscape design of our backyard mountain. Ronnie, Ed and the rest of the team showed up day one on-time, excited and eager to start. Each day afterwards the team showed up on-time in the morning and worked into the evening making sure we understood the status before they left. We had great weather so the job went much quicker than originally expected, they were done in just over a week! Ed's work with the large machines is hypnotic and smooth and the team did some serious work bringing in and laying all the stone. Ronnie was always available for questions and was constantly evaluating and making adjustments to make sure we were happy with the end result. Pros: Nice demeanor but I'm not sure if he means well…read more Overall, his personality is pleasant when he smiles. I'm sure he's only looking out for himself and he's human. I have nothing against him and forgive him for refusing to enlist me with his insurance company and so I was never covered, consequently. Cons: I did not get disclosure about a) possible tire damages on the lawn to the 1 ton truck. It just sorta pushed over the dirt and it became mountain-like in some areas and grass stopped growing (at least temporarily... we'll see overall). No apology was made on this and his response was that "I'm trying to take advantage". BEWARE: Before the job begins, he should provide a document from his insurance company recognizing you as his client. This is not what he may prefer to do even if he knows to do the right thing. Also, a disclosure on the fact that no debris cleanup would be made on my deck and roof was never discussed. It would have been nice for him to tell me (disclose) the mess to expect after the tree is cut, because my tree hovered over the front of the house. advise that I'd have to hire someone else to clean up the hefty job. No warning about the in between deck slabs either. I would have preferred disclosures to put tarps like painters do over affected areas, and perhaps it should have been a courtesy on his part. A weak apology was made about this.

i needed to have four trees cut down. i contacted day's landscaping and they looked at the…read moreproperty. they game me a fair and reasonable quote. they had the equipment and people to do the job quickly and efficiently. after they finished their work, they did a marvelous clean up. in fact, the property looks better with their clean up than before they started the work. i am very pleased and they were very pleasant. i live in albrightsville and i strongly recommend them. howard
