I never received any kind of engagement letter outlining fees, etc. After putting in a ton of time and effort to get my S-corp set up, the CPA's assistant never ran payroll because she ran into an issue with my bank but never informed me. When I learned of this, she told me that she was very busy because it was tax season and said "Sweetie, if it was that stressful to you, you could have just done it yourself". By not running payroll, they caused me to be behind in submitting a W-2 to get an employer medical insurance plan which means that I will have to pay over $700 for another month of my individual plan. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

She was responding to a call and flew through a main intersection on Pacific highway S and I happened to be going about my business and she came from nowhere and hit me. My car flipped as hers was slammed into a telephone pole. Right from the beginning this case was bad. The police and fire trucks and ambulances were not worried about me but pedestrians had come to help me. I ended up in the hospital I was there for about a week and Bernard group came to my hospital room which I think should be legal and asked if they could represent me at that time they told me they would write me a check immediately if I wanted to settle right there and then in the hospital. I should have known from that moment that this was not a reputable company as I think everyone knows that is not legal. It took me about three years to settle. But my left arm and fingers was messed up and I was supposed to have surgery on my neck to help with the nerve damage. I declined surgery because the surgeon at the time said there was a 75% chance I could lose all feeling in my left arm and fingers. And I have five daughters so I could not chance it. The law group forced me to settle even though I did not feel the settlement was right I knew I could've gotten much more because of the severity of the accident but they forced me to settle saying that the police would look into my past and put me up on the stand and embarrass me in front of my kids and my family so because I didn't have enough confidence in myself I settled and boy do I regret it. I now get disability because of my back and shoulders and neck and left arm. I know that that company was working with the police which would have been a conflict of interest the amount of money that I received is laughable in comparison to what I should have got and it really pisses me off and I really hope that nobody has taken advantage of like I was by this law firm who knows the amount of pay off that they received every time I see these people on TV and makes me sick and I'm reminded of how they screwed me over
