i was quoted 195 to fix a handle that popped off my shower. they told me to call the next morning i did. they sent over a different person. he came in and after stepping into the bathroom he closed the door and i heard him sit on the toilet. i left the house to pick up money and when i came back he was outside and said he got it to stop spilling water but couldn't fix the handle with the $70 piece he brought. i didn't have to pay for that but he charged $100 for "turning off the water".he said if i wanted the handle fixed he can come back and it will be $700. i paid him the 100. he left and when i went inside the shower looked the exact same. with water still spilling . *-* WASTE of time and money. read more

Senior citizen new to the city. Southwest gas said I have a gas leak and I needed a plumber. From a referral called Got Plumbing on Tuesday. They came out Wednesday morning to assess. Said they would have to pull permits and would take a week. I had asked the receptionist, Dianne, to keep me informed by phone. She never called until Friday at 4:30 PM saying they would be out Saturday morning at 9 to fix, but they had to see if permits would be pulled? What? They already said they did?!? So now 3 days have gone by and I have to wait more?? I was so furious with her, I hung up, only to call back and get VM telling her I expect them to be here the next morning at 9 like she said they would. Needless to say, nobody showed, So, who knows how much longer I will be without hot water and gas? They sure didn't care. Would never use and will make sure I tell everybody to stay away from. read more

They had a tech come out and check my pipes cause I had a foul odor in my home. Said it was traps, replaced them twice and when that didn't work. Scheduled a appointment in which they never showed up and then I got the run around from them. I wouldn't refer or use them! Very unprofessional! I waited a day to post this, had I done it yesterday at the peak of my frustration, it would have been one star. I used this company a few weeks ago for a minor fix. There was a scheduling mix up but I didn't think much of it, the job wasn't an emergency. Plumber was nice and efficient. So last Tuesday when my water heater died and started leaking I decided to call them again. I was told they probably couldn't come out that day but would definitely get to me tomorrow. Well the next day, by 3pm I called to see how much longer they would be and was told they are just too busy and they will get to me in a day or two. (The lady on the phone also thought it was necessary to tell me how messy her desk is with all the jobs they have) Thing is, if they had just said they were super busy when I first called I could have opted to try to call other companies. Instead, it wasn't till Thursday that I was tied if waiting and tried other companies. Found one who came out the next day, gave me an exact time to expect them and arrived 10min early. Got the job done in 2hrs, in time for me to go to work. And the technicians were also courteous enough to were a mask around me without being asked. Meanwhile, Got Plumbing finally got around to calling me on Monday. Had I stuck with them I would have waited an entire week without hot water. Bottom line, they do good work but are crap at scheduling and communicating properly. Also the woman at the desk has no business answering phones. read more

I rarely write reviews but I had to with this one. I see some bad reviews here, and I know nothing is ever perfect, but these guys are close to it as you can get with me. Trying to nail down arrival times was a bit wonky, but their jobs are unpredictable, and once he did arrive (two visits) Brian took great care of my problems and taught me some stuff. And where some companies in Las Vegas will ream you for $$ if they can (especially us senior citizens), he was as fair as it gets. And when one guy at a company is that way, they usually all are. I had an emergency and was referred to this company. I had used them once before. They showed up, ripped out my ceiling and left sewage waste all over my downstairs bathroom on a Friday, claiming they would be back Monday with the parts. After no-showing on Monday, I checked in Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and finally Saturday with promises of service. They never came. They never called me back. This company has service appointment windows of 6 hours so you will have to be available all day and hope that they arrive early, which they won't because they over schedule their technicians and don't care about how serious your issue is. Worst Plumbing ever. No customer services rip off rate...do not waste time and money.

My 2 year old hot water heater wasn't working. I called one plumber and he told me the whole thing needed to be replaced and it would cost about $1300 - $1500 to get up to code. I told him I would think about. I called Got Plumbing and he came and said he could fix it but because it was Sunday they would have to get the part on Monday. Brian came out and installed the part in less than a half hour and it worked. And it cos $177! This is a great company read more

I rarely leave negative comments on yelp, I think it's tasteless and honestly sometimes people have an off day however the level of unprofessionalism that came from GOT Plumbing was that bad. My company owns several commercial shopping centers in Summerlin and we were referred to Geoff from GOT to look at a grease trap that is having an awful odor come from it. He did come out once to take a look at it and said to give him a few days to get back to me with a solution. About a week later I never heard from him so I called, he had great answers as too what we should do and a plan to execute. Well that is where things stopped since then I have called GOT about 10 times and each time Stephanie, the receptions I assume has said she would have Geoff call me right away OR she would call me back in 10 minutes with an update. Well guess what? Neither of them ever called me back, I am the one who kept calling. I asked Stephanie to please be honest and let me know if this job was just too big for them or if they didn't have time but instead I just got the run around for almost two weeks and still have not heard from anyone in their office. I did make sure to let my vendor who referred them know so he could stop referring them to his other clients. With so many companies to chose from I think it only fair people know what they are potentially getting. At this point we've moved on to another company and are resolving the grease trap issues. The new company we are using is DMS plumbing. I highly recommend using them as they got out issues solved in three days, professionally all while communicating with myself and the tenant. Critical: Professionalism is a lost art with this company... So I live and own my own mobile home in Cabana MH park. I get up at 4am for work and come home at 4pm. I get home and am relaxing. Then use the toilet and find I have no water. I go outside in the dark and there's a bag of tools sitting by my water shut off. I walk around the house and find a service truck parked in front of my driveway. I ask him what is he doing since I own the home. He says he was told to replace the water line. I ask him the obvious question, "don't you let the owner of the home know that you're shutting off their water?". His response was that they told him it needed to be fixed. Just an FYI. It worked fine for the last 4 years, only needed a new handle and to be wrapped for winter. So here it is at 6pm, no water in my home and he shows absolutely no concern or compassion for the situation he put me in. I wouldn't use this company if my life depended on it. Thursday I called my go to plumbers. I knew it was last minute and a holiday weekend but when things pop up there is nothing that can be done. They recommend Got Plumbing. I was happy they could replace my shut off valve for dishwasher and check on slow drains. I very happy the receptionist sad they could come after 2:30pm, Friday as my husband had a doctors appointment. About 5:30pm I thought let me call them and see where I am on list. I call a man answers and I ask if I was on the list and when to expect the plumber, I was told that my Plummer had run into a problem with customer before me and he would check to see when Plummer would be coming and call me back. Still waiting on that call. I understand all the logistics... Friday before a holiday weekend. You could have said no when I called not until Tuesday. The day of appointment when I called Got plumbing you could have said I sorry it looks like we can't make it after he check with Plummer having helping customers before me... but nothing! I see that there are negative reviews on this company but I can only leave my experience of having used them for the first time, we found a small flood under our sink on Sat 10/18/20.called our landlord who sent this company (got plumbing). Tony arrived late afternoon Sat to check out the issue and gave us instructions on what to do to keep from getting flooded any further. And said he would return on Monday, but he forgot we told him we would not be home until the afternoon and he came by Monday morning, and since we were not home he could have just not come back until the next day but he made a special trip to our home to tell us that he made a mistake and since he had been doing sewer work he did not want to bring that into our home. And we agreed that he would return Tues 10/20/20.in the A:M (08:30).and he did indeed show up EARLY. The job was completed and he explained a few things to us about what had happened also.(did not have to be that professional) but he was.
