I keep coming back, I've tried the nail salon upstairs, local ones in Happy Valley, expensive ones as part of hair treatments at Four Seasons and I always come back to Beau Nail. Forget the chairs and magazine selections - meh. You keep going back because your nails are clean and shaped the way YOU want them, not because the technician wants them. They know how to polish and recommend new colors that you might be interested in. Each finger is evenly cut, each toe is evenly cut. Not one shaped oval the other square, the polish doesn't look like you did it yourself. They scrape the calluses off your feet so they are soft and tender as your feet should be even though you may have been walking on grit or wood floors for days. The price isn't the cheapest. But, neither is it at the other salons. What you pay for is polish that doesn't yellow your nails, matching nails and they remember how you like your nails done each time.

A mani-pedi combo was completed in 45 minutes -- great selection of polishes, clean, and most importantly, conveniently located next to Airport Express. He was pretty friendly. Definitely make an appointment as the small salon was full of people by 12:30 (half an hour after opening). Although I received a beautiful matte red gel mani - I'm subtracting a star due to add on costs that were not disclosed on their attractive sign outside promising a gel mani for $150 HKD. For OPI gel and a matte top coat it was an additional $60 (30 each) because of the quality of OPI gel and the additional cost of materials for the two swipes of matte gel on top. If I lived in HK, I would come here often - but definitely would get a quote on the service before being surprised at the end with the cost of it.

But not Nail Ten. I just got a fabulous blue gradient gel manicure for $310, including the price it took to take off the gel I already had on. They have tons of colors to choose from and lots of fun designs including jewels, glitter. little characters, etc. If you want a crazy manicure with something different on every nail, rhinestones, glitter, the whole shebang, this is the place to go! I was able to make an appointment and come in the same day. The shop is small so I'd recommend doing the same. The address for this spot is on Li Wok St, but the entrance to the building is actually on Hillier... took me a few min of wandering around to figure that out!

No nicks on my cuticles. I get nervous about that part. The nail art was done by the owner who drew those leaves on in record time. Pro! Very relaxing atmosphere w/ tv to watch and kitties to hang out w/. Black Pearl is hilarious and super affectionate. Love him! Definitely will come back the next time I'm in HK.

Another worker also worked on my pedicure, kind of embarrass because I have bad toe cuticles. She took her time and cleaned it all up for me. What is not impressive is the interior and the quality pedicure tools. I am usually use to the tub and a massaging chair, however here it's just a small plastic bucket with really old towels. Tourists might be turned off by that. The over all pricing was $750 HKD, about $98 USD. You save on the fact that tip is included in the HK. Otherwise it is the same as the US. The environment is clean and they do sanitize all the tools they use before they give you a treatment. They do all sorts of manicure and pedicure with nail polish, hard gel and soft gel. The best deal here is doing a pedicure with nail polish. It only costs $180. It costs over $250 at any other decent nail salons I've been to in Hong Kong. They also have a separate room with curtains for pedicure. I like how it makes it more discreet as you normally don't look so elegant sticking your feet out for pedicure! While you're enjoying your treatment, you can watch the TV as they always have local movies on. I highly recommend this place.

The salon is cute and girly, and the carry a wide array of OPI polish. Once it's time for your appointment, you'll be escorted into the back of the salon where the pedis are done. No plush pedicure chairs, as space is at a premium. The nail technician was thorough and detailed, though the leg massage lasted less than a minute... bummer. But the pedicure turned out flawless, though it comes at a pretty price: 320 HKD! Beauty Beauty probably won't be the spot I head to for regular pedis as it's quite pricey, but I think I'll give the eyelash extensions a go as they're actually somewhat affordable.

I just like them well maintained, cleaned up and neatly trimmed. Sarah my nail lady was quick and kind. She nicked my cuticle and we had a small bleeding event, which is never a good sign on a visit to a nail salon. It happens, but thus maybe the mixed review. Also in lue of no polish, there is no "buff to a shine" option which seemed a touch strange to me. I asked for it and it would take maybe an extra minute or two to do, but maybe the language barrier or something, but I got no buffing to a shine. The salon is nicer than Nail 88 across the way, which I also gave a 3, but has less of the "chop shop" feel (sorry to say it like that, but I call it like I see it!) This little spot is 85% clean and seems organized. Manicures are done on the first floor, pedicures are done on the second floor. The price is right at $130HKD for a traditional manicure, but the nick of my cuticle and not even buffing my nails to a shine in light of no polish was kind of a negative from my viewpoint.
