It's all about the tennis here. I haven't seen any other clubs on the Eastside which come close on…read morethe tennis front. I'm on a long waiting list, but able to use the outstanding facilities during this period. Did a men's night and was able to get some court time. Turns out I had a mild cardiac event (due to severe dehydration and massive electrolyte imbalance from an extended food poisoning situation) during that evening, and was stupid enough to push through it and not pass out. This translated into bizarre, sluggish play, compromised judgement, and some impairment with coordination and reaction time. I couldn't even keep score for more than a few points, forgot what side I was on, etc. The guys were totally supportive, and accommodating, giving me a ton of time between points. They had no idea anything was wrong other than a comment I made in jest about my heart racing. Anyhow, seeing the facility from the inside - the decor is a bit dated, but it's very clean, HUGE, and comfortable. Not to mention very convenient to get to, with tons of parking, and proper spacing between courts, proper lighting, and proper heating. Even the WiFi here was outstanding. =)

Multiple members have complained about their unfair tactics towards members and their court times management etc. This is a club with amazing coaches and other staff except for a couple of people that they will not do anything about. This used to be a family Tennis Club but is no longer. Several of us have complained to their managers (Multiple times) with no response. The way Andrea chases members and family around the courts/property checking on them if they are members or why they just were talking to their kids etc. that then makes members feel harassed and discriminated against. So far we have only seen her do this to people of color. The perception a colored member gets from all this is a very unwelcome experience. I know several members have quit the club due to these unfair tactics.

This is a review of the meeting rooms and catering food served during the events…read more Let me start off by saying this venue is not perfect. It has lots of room for improvement - some of which I will get into the details later. BUT! Compared to some of the other venues in this area, they are above average. Due to the nature of my job, I have been to several meeting/ball/conference rooms at various hotels all around the world. I participate in a monthly training at Bellevue Club, so even though I am not a member there, I get to use some of their facilities and catering food. They offer several types of lunch options. Mexican, Asian, Mediterranean, and American. The food quality tbh is just okay. But okay is okay! It is what is expected of food like this that is prepared for 200+ guests. I am not sure if they make their own desserts or not but I do enjoy their desserts more often than their lunch offerings. For example, Apple Tart (as pictured) was quite good! It was very sweet but the nutty flavors from the pecans and cinnamon balanced it out. I just wish that the food quality is more consistent. Some months, we get meats that are just way over cooked. Some months they come out near perfect. They have several meeting/conference rooms of different sizes and I have been in at least 4 different rooms. The room are clean and seats are comfortable enough. Projectors work and sound system is just fine as well. Zero complaints there. All the service employees I have interacted with have been very nice! I know there is a set minimum purchase for food/drinks to rent the room(s) but I do not remember the exact dollar amount. Based on memory, I did not think it was that expensive. Parking is free but they ask us to park at the Hilton parking lot, which is within 3 minutes walking distance. Just be careful - there are some designated parking spots owned by Diamond Parking. Do NOT park in these spots. You will be fined. I do not understand what Diamond Parking owns a certain number of spots inside of a hotel parking lot. Not cool! Bellevue Club also offers valet parking. I am not sure if this is only for the hotel guests though. I have not tried but I have interacted with the valet parking staff. They are all very nice and cool. That's about it! If you need to borrow a meeting room for 100+ people on the eastside, I can definitely recommend Bellevue Club.

I like checking out pickleball places when traveling and found that Gorin had open play…read more They cap the number of players and you need to pre-register online and for me as a guest, it ended up being close to $25 after fees. This was a little shocking to me since I usually pay around $8 and not to mention it was only for 2.5 hours. But nonetheless I am glad I got was able to check it out. The facility itself looks like it used to be a long warehouse previously; there is a central hall down the middle with courts to the left and workout areas to the right with the bathrooms located at the end of the long hall. But There's also a nice seating area and lobby at the front if you're waiting for someone. As a guest, it would've been nice if there was a receptionist since I had no idea where to go. I pretty much wandered into the first court which luckily was the right place. There was a court monitor which really helps move open play along and different areas per level. While the courts are pretty nice, there is not much room to sit or place to take breaks. However that wasn't a problem for me since I pretty much played back to back games which I found was pretty much the consensus of most players since it was only 2.5 hours. Definitely got in a good workout, played with good people and tried out a new facility which is a win in my book.

At his first tournament win, my son came out and said "mom! I made every shot count until the end and trusted myself!" and said he learned this from Coach Omer. - Coach Lucas has coaches my daughter with techniques that fit her lean physique, and he brings so much fun and positivity to every class. She's definitely not a morning person but she/herself asked us to sign her up BEFORE school just to have a class with Coach Lucas. - Coach Davi has given both of my kids lasting joy for the sport, stronger strategic thinking, gameplay, and the confidence to stand up for themselves during tournaments. My kids look forward to Coach Davi's class every Saturday and never misses the class. It's been an amazing experience at Gorin. These coaches are true mentors who make our kids stronger every day and we've been with these coaches for a few years now. My husband also plays in their adult classes! One request for the facility: On Saturdays (@12:30), my kids do a mini group with Coach Davi and another kid we've been playing with for a long time. We're consistent customers and players on Saturdays. We would love to see this group moved off the Kids Court and onto a full court--these kids are growing and need more space to run. Several moms (which our kids play tennis together) have even said: please let us know right away when Coach Davi has a full-court option--we'd sign up immediately. We have a good group of kids who have been playing together (and similar levels) for a long time now with Coach Davi and want to stay together- but they're growing up and super energized to run more!

Steven (the owner) is a perfectionist, solid tennis player (I got a chance to hit with Steven a few times), and a great guy all around. I got at least half a dozen or so string jobs from Kick Serve Tennis so far; in fact, I broke my strings last week and just picked up my racket from Steven last Friday. About a year ago, I ended up purchasing two new arm-friendly tennis rackets (Pro Kennex 7g) that Steve recommended after I described my arm issues and the type of racket I usually like to hit with. I've tried out about half a dozen demo rackets that Kick Serve let my try out at no cost before ending up with the 7g, which I'm loving! Several of my friends purchased tennis rackets from Kick Serve Tennis in the past year. The prices are extremely competitive with even the cheapest online retailers. We also all get our rackets strung there. In fact, just last night I played tennis with a member of my tennis league and he broke his strings during the first set. We talked a bit before we discovered that we both know Steven and get our rackets strung at Kick Serve Tennis, so it looks like Kick Serve Tennis is already slowly growing through word of mouth.
