This is the only place I shop for my cannabis products. First and foremost, because it is Black women owned. Second, because of the service that I receive when I shop there. I'm not incredibly knowledgeable about marijuana and CBD. So I typically go into the store and tell my personal shopper what I'm looking to feel. And then they will suggest various items and tell me how I might interact with them. There are times when there's only one person working the store. So only one person is allowed to shop at a time. I understand that's for safety reasons so patience is a virtue. I've been coming to GorillaRx for a few years now. I have always been pleased with what I receive and will continue to shop here exclusively. read more

Gorilla Rx - Cannabis Dispensaries Near Me - Los Angeles, California

So I am born and raised in Los Angeles ,California. I heard that there was a black owned dispensary on Crenshaw Blvd and owned by a woman. That's phenomenal! The location is by Mavericks flat in Leimert Park. It is actually on the same side and next door to Mavericks flat. There was plenty of free parking on Crenshaw boulevard . So we go in and we were greeted by BeBe. We gave her identifications and chit chat with her like she was family. Once inside Will Smith took great care of us. I got everything that I wanted. Even if you do not use cannabis this shop is so dope. It has plenty of artwork and other decor. Plus, it's a chill vibe. Thank you and see you again! read more

Will rocks!. Great experience and service. They have great selection every time. I love their daily deals.

I highly recommend this dispensary to anyone who is looking for a place to call Mary Home, You'll be a regular after your first visit (5 star Atmosphere) I appreciate their knowledgable staff for treating their patients like top tier clients; They curate an experience and walk through their inventory to see what suits the needs of their patients. (5 Star Service) Gorilla Rx's house flower is dank! Their Indica & Sativa prerolls are bangin on wax, at least for me and my folks I bake with. Homegrown not Exotic (5 Star Quality) read more

Only PAY cash at Cannibas Dispensaries! Gorilla RX held my transaction for 27 days! I will never use my Chime Visa debit card for this Cannabis Dispensary again. Pay Quick-Quick Card told me that Gorilla RX "forgot" to Batch transactions and the reason why it took 27 days, they literally held my transaction up because they did not Batch that day and causing me to be overdrawn 27 days later. I was shocked to see my account overdrawn and then only to discover why... Well, their incompetence caused me to be Overdrawn, and will only do cash with them if I ever go back there, and it's a Black-owned Cannabis Store too, smh. Cash only at these California Cannabis Dispensaries trust nothing...black-owned or other-owned. read more

My favorite dispensary in LA! My first time here I got such great vibes it felt like coming back home! I was so warmly greeted by everyone from the security to the bud tender it made me feel really excited to spend my money here! They have daily sales and deals throughout week. And as the first Black Womem owned dispensary in LA, you know they are coming correct with putting the community and equity first. What can I say about Gorilla rx? First off this business is a woman owned dispensary which is mind. Blown. I've been coming here for about a year now and let me just say I am amazed on how upkept they have been, how their service is still doing as amazing as day one, how clean it is and how many new products we get to try every time I visit! Truly the best dispensary I've been to! read more

I came here recently after an Ab-Soul concert and first off hell yeah they are black woman owned! Second the staff is so nice and helpful since I am all over the place. So glad to see our people with a dispensary of this caliber. I would recommend the Keef sodas . I drink a whole can with my meal (forgetting what it was) and was high for 2 and half days . I slept the whole weekend, only woke up to eat. Try everything at this place , you'll be pleased. The staff are all nice as well. Tonight I tried a new brand and I think I like this one better . I flew into LAX & after settling in started looking for dispensaries nearby. Although this wasn't the closest option, I came here when I seen it was Black Owned & it was worth the ride! After having my ID checked I went inside to check the inventory. My budtender was Brit (If I can recall). She helped me find sativa prerolls and suggested some premium keef dipped prerolls. I got enough prerolls for my whole trip & a box for the trip back home. Everything was reasonable price for what you're getting. If I was local I would be going here continuously. Now it's just my treat when I visit LA! read more

I initially heard about this black woman owned dispensary on a podcast. We were celebrating black history month, so I thought it best to see what the hype was all about. The owner Kika made a guest appearance on Jill Scott's podcast J.Ill and I was all ears. Shout out to my twin Jill Scott - go check out her podcast on IHeart Radio. So, Me and my girls took a trip to LA, and we dived right in. The location is not far from Leimert Park. I loved the aesthetics of the place, and it had a warm feeling. I made a few purchases, and the products were on point. The staff was helpful and knowledgeable about the products they offered. I heard Kika opened a school next door but since I came during the evening, I didn't get to check it out. My gfs said they thought the prices were a little steep, but you get what you pay for lol. I recommend this dispensary, for the culture, products, exceptional customer service and of course because of what it took out of Kika to be here. Kika has a story and it is amazing. She is so strong and determined to make her neighborhood and the world a better place one door at a time:) read more

I used to love coming in here. But now I go in , barely any selection. The taxes are crazy. The total the budtender gave me was not my total at all. The products they do have are always quality , and the service I get is always nice and sweet. The store itself is beautiful and located in a good spot. But it's getting extra expensive and I don't think they're selling to "us" anymore. I hate this review , but it is what it is. read more
