My appointment was at 3:30 p.m. I was not immediately seen. And I didn't think the reception was that friendly. I was very surprised to know that there is no list of prices!! This was my first concern. When I finally went to see the provider who's not a doctor or nurse, he was professional and courteous. When I ask about pricing, he told me I need to speak with the receptionist. As the provider that's doing the service he should be aware of what the prices are. What I really dislike about any spa service is when they draw the product and another room You really don't know what you're getting. They don't show you the units that you're getting they don't show you anything that they're doing. For that I give them a zero. I purchased a service on Black Friday and had never been contacted to schedule until another promotion came up on Facebook. I've been to This business, spoke with him on the phone which is very difficult to reach. I purchased a service on Black Friday and never heard from the business until I saw another promotion on Facebook almost the month later. Based upon my experience establishment, I would give them a 1. That's dealing with the phone and receptionist but they got a 3 because of the provider.

I was searching for a weight loss program that would provide excellent results. As I began…read moresearching online, I ran across Options Medical Weightloss program. A bit hesitant, I met with my counselor. Weeks later, I enrolled in the program. It was then that I would get to know my weight loss team. Hesitant and afraid to get injections, Tim, the Medical Provider Assistant, introduced himself to me. He began explaining all the tests that would be taken to get a baseline assessment of my specific health. He then began to explain the weekly injections, answering all questions. Tim made me feel confident. Tim was very personable, easy to talk to, and easily injected me. (I'm no longer afraid to get injections). Overall, Tim has been very professional, supportive, and upbeat, rather I had a good week or a not-so-good week.

After…read moreenrolling, I learned more about the compounded GLP-1 medication and pharmacy sourcing being used and became uncomfortable proceeding. I canceled before receiving any medication or starting treatment, within 6 days but outside the 3 day window. What really left a bad impression was the lack of transparency upfront combined with the refusal to refund me -- even though no medication was ever shipped and I never used their services. Once I researched the differences between compounded GLP-1 medications and FDA-approved products, I no longer felt comfortable proceeding and canceled before receiving any medication. However, even though I cancelled within a week of enrolling and not having received any medication or medical services, they refuse to refund me any of my money. I would caution ANYONE considering their program. Especially with out easy it is now to receive FDA approved GLP1s online and at a similar price point.

I love My Personal Trainer in Westlake! I was out of shape and had no energy when I decided to…read morestart exercising in June 2016. I liked the personal attention that made me want to go there twice a week. I rarely miss a session. My balance and stamina have improved. I've been inspired to start watching what I eat and have lost over 30 pounds since starting the program! Thanks to Dan, Sarah and the rest of the team I've been able to stick to the program and look forward to continuing in the future.

Three months ago when I started at MTP in Westlake I was very skeptical that a 2 day-a-week workout…read moreroutine could make a big difference in my life, and certainly not in a short amount of time. A little about why I chose MPT... I have severe arthritis in my knees and had been pretty sedentary for a couple years because of the pain. After seeing an orthopedic surgeon and going through a couple rounds of injections (cortisone and synvisc), the only thing that I really found helpful was physical therapy. At 53 I was told that I was too young for knee replacements. When my PT sessions were coming to an end, I was looking for a good transition from that. My knees were weak, and I needed strength training. After looking online at a lot of different gyms and reading reviews, I settled on MPT, mainly because of its intimate atmosphere. I really like the appointment-based setting - knowing I have somewhere to be and someone who is expecting me is motivating. There are never more than 4 or 5 other people (including the trainers) there at my appointment time, so I never feel self conscious or rushed. All the trainers at MPT in Westlake are awesome! Dan is the manager, and he came up with a great routine to start out with - with the focus on getting my knees stronger, but staying low impact so I wouldn't injure myself. Sarah, Audri and Evan are so kind, knowledgeable and encouraging. The best part of all of this is that as my knees, hips and whole body is getting stronger, the pain in my knees is dramatically reduced! My stamina has improved so much - I can carry a heavy laundry basket now without my arms getting tired, and I can carry it up two flights of stairs with ease! Everyday tasks are easier now. I'm sleeping better, and even though I am wasn't terribly overweight (I wanted to lose between 15-20 lbs), I have lost a few and it hasn't come back, even if I'm "bad" on a weekend. Even though I've only lost 5 lbs, my body is changing and my clothes are fitting better! It's worth mentioning that I was already conscious that my food portions and calorie intake needed some modification. So before I started at MPT I had decreased my portions and was using an app to make sure I wasn't taking in too many calories. All the trainers at MPT are experienced and well-versed in that as well. Price... With my high deductible insurance plan I was paying about $150 per (give or take, depending on what level they coded it as) Physical Therapy session. I asked what it would be if I wanted to continue out-of-pocket (because my insurance only covered 12 sessions). To continue physical therapy would have been between $75 and $150 per SESSION, depending on how much time I spent there. In contrast, I'm paying MPT about $20 a session (with the package I chose). Like other places, they run specials and if you pay up front (which I did - I chose a 1 year package) you get a break. I could have gotten a bigger break if I had chosen a different package. Try not to get bogged down in all of that - they're a business and they have to make money. It's so worth it!
