So the bakery employee came over and told me she can whip some up if I take my time shopping. I came back and they were so beautiful. This was 3:45pm on 7/19/24 and the store was super busy but she was amazing !! Thank you so so much you made my birthday special.

To save a few dollars, we typically purchase widely-available staples/packaged goods at the Big Y next door, then head over to Guido's for specialty items only. We are not particular fans of the cafe items, however, which we've tried when we wanted to eat breakfast before shopping - wrapped breakfast sandwiches in the cafe steamtable have been greasy or generally odd-tasting (I'm looking at you, weird crumbly breakfast biscuit), and the few times we've ordered milk-based hot coffee drinks, they've been burned. Moving forward, we'll skip the cafe when we shop. Though the parking lot in the GB location is MUCH more manageable than the crazy parking lot at the Lenox location - which makes it worth the drive to GB alone...

My wife's chai latte was rancid. But her avocado toast was good - except for the mystery spices that were sprinkled on the avocado. Something made her ill and I suspect it was the sip of rancid latte. The 12 ounce, $11 soup measured 2 3/8 from lip to interior bottom of container. There were two pieces of baguette with some melted cheese in the container. The bread filled more than half of the container's volume. The broth had cooked onions as expected, but was flavorless and non-aromatic. For three tablespoons of soup, this is *not* anyone's definition of a value. The server at the counter was slow, surly, and altogether unpleasant to interact with. Great Barrington Bagel or Guido's are the places to go: Not Bizalion in a bazillion years!
