This facility smells clean upon entry and there is a nice, spacious waiting area. They accept Medicaid and the receptionist was very pleasant. The other Urgent Care Centers that come up for this side of town are shady, don't accept all types of Medicaid, and aren't as clean as they should be to trusted to treat you instead of make you sick; I've used them in the past, never again! The only reason why I gave them a 4 is because the place opened at 10:00am and there was only one person signed in (10:08am) before me (10:21), and the receptionist informed me while filling out my paperwork that the doctor was actually running 15 minutes behind and was on the way. It's now 12:12 and the receptionist said the doctor texted her and said he's five minutes away. Wow.

I'll be honest--the day before our appointment, the front desk staff member we spoke with was a little rude, which was discouraging. However, on the actual day of our appointment, there was a different person at the front desk and she was friendly, welcoming, and very helpful, which made a big difference. As for the doctor, he was absolutely amazing. You could truly tell that he takes pride in his work and genuinely enjoys what he does. He was thorough, patient, and made my daughter feel comfortable throughout the visit. Despite the small hiccup the day before, our experience was very positive, and I would definitely recommend Southside Medical Center. It's a great place with a doctor who clearly cares about his patients.

I don't remember exactly what the super nice manager called it but it was something cute and clever that perfectly describes how they do things here, they're fast, efficient, kind, gentle, genuine, caring and professional. I've been my own medical advocate for quite sometime after a few chronic illnesses, so I needed a doctor who trusted my opinion and didn't look down on me because of my age. Dr. Bergstrom and Dr. Keller are both these kind of physicians! Dr. Keller was my first doctor at this practice. His manner is extremely calm and patient. He listened to everything I had to say and spent a generous amount of time with me. I was so grateful for his outside-of-the-box thinking that got me a good diagnosis and fast relief. He definitely cares about his patients. I am now seeing Dr. Bergstrom as a regular patient and I love him! He is funny and makes you feel comfortable about anything you need to say during the appointment. He also is willing to listen to everything. He even is very open to my suggestions after doing my own research about treatments. I'm so glad since I'm the one who knows my body best. The whole office is very calm; it's never very busy. I'm always the youngest patient in my 20s by a decade at least. I've never waited more than 15 minutes, and I'm always out of the office within the hour unless something weird happens (likes I need an EKG--which they have in the office!). I'm a fan!

I was a new patient,so they kept going to see their follow-up patients first. This is one of my pet peeves, no matter if you're new or existing patient, I think a office should go by order of appointment. Any way, I wasted 5 hours of my day and left with no solution to the problem that I went to see her for. I saw her one time and will never see her again. I'm guessing her good reviews must be from her staff, her family members or the Dr herself....I not sure how anyone can like this Dr, no bedside manner at all. P.S....I'm on of the easiest patient to please, but a 5 hour visit is ridiculous.
