I was walking up & down the aisles looking for chapstick & I finally spotted Kelly and asked her. Come to find out, I had passed it a long time ago. Lol. Thanks, Kelly! Then I went to find me a screwdriver & didn't know where they were. I must've gone down 5 or 6 aisles before I decided to give up looking. I saw George over at the Automotive desk helping someone else, so I waited patiently & he did not disappoint. He told me exactly where it was & even checked on me when he was walking by. Wow. Great service, George. Then, as I walked towards Grocery, I thought I would run into the game aisle, but that didn't happen. Thankfully, I saw Tamera & asked her where the games were & not only did she tell me, but she walked me all the way over there to the other side of the store. & then she helped me look for what I was looking for. I can say the Walmart in Sallisaw was a major shock to us. The produce is very fresh and seems like it's stocked well also. We didn't have any issues finding our products, and everything was actually at the store, so there is no need to go somewhere else. The employees were extremely nice and actually acknowledged us while we were in the store. They were able to answer all our questions, and while checking out, we had an issue with one of the registers, but the employee was very patient and fixed the problem. The store was very clean and kept up with. I wish more Walmarts were like this, but I'm happy we have one close to our current city. Thank you

They recognize me and always seek to help in any way they can. They actually take helping to a level that one would NEVER see in a chain store. they go above and beyond with their customer service. They have, perhaps the best gift shop in town, especially if one is looking for a unique greeting card or thoughtful gift. Often times one can purchase pure Jersey Cow Milk, there, as the owners have a dairy herd. Jersey milk has the highest butterfat content of any cow milk I know of, being extraordinarily creamy and sweet. This locale struggles when it comes to the restaurant part. They always seem to have a high quality outfit there but they don't tend to last long because they don't get enough traffic. It's a shame. The ambiance is just like a 1950s soda shop, having both a counter with stools and booths. Seating is comfortable and it's a very pleasant place to sit, eat and visit with a friend.

This is…read moreabsolutely the worst Walgreens, and probably the worst pharmacy I have ever dealt with since 1995. Went here to pick up prescriptions ordered by the ER doctor. It was our first experience with this Walgreens. I checked in at the counter to get my prescription. I was informed by the tech that it wasn't ready, but would be in 10-15 minutes. I returned to the counter 25 minutes later to check the status and the same tech told me they were having problems with their computer processing the items, but it should be resolved quickly. After about 15 minutes I asked the tech what the cost would be and she asked the pharmacist who said it would be negligible but she would be done in a minute after making some crack about how busy they were. The tech further informed me that they would just send it to another pharmacy. When I asked her what good that would do and didn't cave to her threat she just walked away. About 5 minutes later the pharmacist calls out for someone to check me out. The tech I had been dealing with, who was unoccupied at that time, then walked to the back and ignored the pharmacist. A couple minutes later another tech approached the pharmacist and asked a question. She replied to the tech and then told him to ring me up next. He didn't and called out for the next person in line. I asked him if he was going to ring me up as directed and the pharmacist came out and started yelling at me, told me I was rude for asking the question, said they were busy, and that she was going to send the prescription elsewhere. (I now know where the tech got her attitude from) The pharmacist and I exchanged words and she finally asked if I wanted to come back and help. I replied yes and she didn't know what to do. She then told me that I couldn't and I asked why and she just said I cannot. This interaction put me in the position of finding a new pharmacy in town, which I did. I found one on south 2nd Street that had friendly staff and were very helpful when I went to inquire if they took our insurance. Good riddance to Walgreens. I will file a corporate complaint, but I doubt it will go anywhere.

The staff have been super kind and able to answer all our medical questions about our medications and the interactions the may cause. We did have one mix up but it was due to their system but they were able to fix the problem very fast. Since we had this issue I highly recommend everyone to check to make sure the correct medication has been filled for you before you leave the store.
