I entered today for a treat with my kids and their friends, carrying my usual boho purse when I was unceremoniously yelled at... "Purses and backpacks MUST BE LEFT AT THE COUNTER!" Shouted the young man from behind the counter. I looked at him in confusion, and said, "Are you talking to me?" "Yeah, YOU." He said rudely. I was standing four feet away from him. I nearly walked out there and then. I looked at the door to see if that was posted anywhere before I responded. It was NOT. I did not hand him my purse and I informed him that I have never been asked to remove my purse or leave because I had it. He then said, "well the other girls must know you if they've never told you that." The young man was obnoxious and rude and I am sorry to say I will be driving a little further to get my gasoline and treats as to avoid this É-Z Mart. They lost my business.

No trash at the pumps area, no litter on the floor of the store. A friendly "Welcome to Love's" as I walked in. This was a good experience for me. Oh my word! They have Chester's and Godfather's Pizza on part of the convenience store and it's…read moremostly separate (they share the bathroom). But even the bathroom is mostly on the convenience store side. The store has all the basics, candy, soda, hot dogs, etc. Being a Loves Travel Stop they also have trucker things, blankets, CB and phone things, stuffed animals, etc. The bathrooms were dirty. The store was decent.

But apparently saying the person who told you they have an item in stock was uncaring is a worse offense than lying about having something!?! WoW! Coz seriously, if they cared they might go look first! Sad. I don't think the customer is always right - but when a store employee is wrong an apology would be appreciated!! And it's FREE!!
