After My Own Art…read more Located on 217 acres of pristine Napa Valley land, the Di Rosa is a contemporary art museum that's been operating publicly since 1997. This museum is the personal collection of Rene & Veronica di Rosa. The Good: *Temporary exhibits rotate approximately every four months. *Complimentary umbrellas (more on that later) *A good portion of the exhibits are outdoors along their gorgeous property. *Shuttle if you don't want to or need assistance walking from building to building. *You really have to like weird shit because this place is full of it. Personally, I love it, but if you're more "serious" art person, then this probably won't be your jam. *Picnic tables on the grounds, as you're encouraged to bring food and drink to enjoy in their outdoor area. *Friendly staff The Meh: *General admission of $25 might be a touch high for an art museum. The Ugly: *Be wary when visiting during inclement weather,as there's a large part of this museum that's outdoors. So you'll probably miss out on some of it, but the free umbrellas (mentioned above) did come in handy. Conclusion: Fun art museum with some really cool pieces and doesn't take itself too seriously.

The outdoor gallery seemed so vast and too much to cover in one visit. Appreciated the shuttle ! Everyone that worked there was so knowledgeable and excited about the works. Highly recommend.

Napa Art Walk - Map 2022

Ten sculptures by seven different artists, with the theme of "play", this is a cool exhibit in…read moreNapa. Apparently, the Napa Art Walk theme changes every couple of years. We visited this past weekend, and it was pretty much like a scavenger hunt, because the pieces are not all located in the exact same area, they are along different streets hidden in gardens and near businesses at random points. But if you have a map, it makes it easier (I included a photo). Most of the pieces are within walking distance to each other, but on a super hot day, we opted to skip a few that were farther out. If you love art, this is a great display of unique and creative artworks, some simpler than others but all created with symbolism. The pieces are made out of diverse materials, from musical strings to bicycle parts, as well as stone, glass, aluminum, and steel.  My favorite sculptures were Time and Awareness, stone artwork that looked almost like a wave, and Wild Flower, a colorful presentation of the Californian poppy made out of bicycle wheels (this one's easy to find, it's right next to Gott's Roadside at Oxbow Public Market). Most of the others are closer to the Riverfront, or 1st and Main. We had fun experiencing the seventh Napa Art Walk exhibition (2021-2023) on a Sunday afternoon, an opportunity to appreciate the talents of diverse artists. And interestingly, according to the website, the art pieces are also for sale. Cool.

Great to walk around and see art here and there , scattered in great spots that made curious to…read moreread about each.

Beautiful Art & Wine Business On the Waterfront In Napa…read more SITREP RiverHouse By Bespoke Collection is a great stop for the afternoon on the Riverfront of the City of Napa evidencing a terrific fusion of many enjoyments! THE SETUP The City of Napa has been developing it's Riverfront area so that is has become more vibrant with an an actively engaged businesses communities of shops, galleries, festivals and the like. So Napa is enjoying an increased & exciting fusion of "art space & wine taste" guaranteed to please you palette as well as your sense of humor! * This is demonstrated in a wonderful series of "Pulp" prints with humorous settings & witty banter! https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/riverhouse-by-bespoke-collection-napa?select=bJrJMRwDUyHqNND1qzE4bQ&reviewid=PlNe5KKwSuWtaXCIL780Bw * Though more eclectic pieces remind me of being in some depraved Frankenstein - or even Sgt. Pepper's Dr. Maxwell (a la Steve Martin) - laboratory! https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/yelps-flight-club-at-riverhouse-napa?select=ONO4tvJWIdtTLUjp5zKYVQ&userid=3mNz5nQFTIBQm0oU5mBR0w It's all in good fun @ Bespoke Collection! WINE Enjoyed a very nice flight of wines here which included: + Blackbird Vineyards Illustration - 2013 vintage (red) + Blackbird Vineyards Arise - 2014 vintage (red) + Resolute Cabernet Sauvignon - 2014 vintage (red) + Blackbird Vineyards Dissonance - 2015 vintage (the only white) The Blackbird white wine "Dissonance" and their Blackbird red "Arise" were my favorites - and precisely because they blended component wines, making for a smoother, more synchronous taste. But in the end, Dissonance was my favorite wine, a white with a crisp, dry taste, and smoother finish. I really appreciate the wine instruction on the Bespoke collection https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/riverhouse-by-bespoke-collection-napa?select=CkJ0goTyKraSwdeznK5DFg THE LOWDOWN RiverHouse By Bespoke Collection is a great stop for the afternoon on the Riverfront of the City of Napa.

I was recently introduced to RiverHouse by Bespoke collection. Curated by the same folks as Maisonry. Maisonry was recently sold to Restoration Hardware...the art is still here...but not all the wines. RiverHouse is now the home of Blackbird Wines..some of the best wine I have ever had! We came here on a rainy afternoon...so we had the attention of every person in the room! Karen and Kelli gave us a fabulous tour around the collection. Many of the pieces I was familiar with from Maisonry. They brought us a taste of wine to enjoy while we walked. We opted to stay a bit longer for a full tasting. All I have to say is that this is a MUST do on your trip to Napa Valley! Thank you Karen and Kelli for an amazing experience! Thank you Michael for sending us here! We will absolutely 100% be back!
