Crazy part: We were supposed to fly out from California to Miami on 4th of July Weekend and United Airlines cancelled all of our flights out including the rescheduled flight to Miami 8 hours before take off. We were struggling to cancel the rest of our activities and stays and had to take partial refunds but Greg came in clutch for us as the honorable man he is. Miraculously she said she could do the job even with short notice. We discussed design ideas and colors. I then sent her photos of the party room. The day of the party Roza and her partner arrived 4 hours before party time and installed the most stunning balloon decorations and backdrop. After the party they came back and collected everything. The music, the crowd, the drinks, the food, and literally having the beach steps away made it feel like the perfect welcome to Miami. It was actually my first meal after landing, and the Cuban and fries were great. The kitchen was surprisingly fast, especially considering how busy everything was. Then came an absolutely insane Miami storm. Instead of running us off, it basically gave us an excuse to stay planted at the bar and keep drinking, which I have zero regrets about . The bartenders were friendly, fast, and did NOT play about checking IDs. What really got me was watching the staff continue running around and taking care of everyone during a torrential downpour. As someone who works in hospitality, part of me was enjoying the chaos and the other part was thinking, how the hell do you even facilitate this operationally?! Such a fun, memorable first stop in Miami. The storm somehow made the experience even better. I'd absolutely come back, but next time I'm making a reservation!

His recommendations for what to do before clubbing Friday night were spot on, and our reservation at the club we settled on went off without a hitch. We were on the list, had a table, were actually only required to buy one bottle, and the bottle cost as much as he said it would. There were no surprises, and the service we received at the club he recommended was great (as was the music / vibe / etc). Furthermore, a different promoter approached my friends and me while at dinner Friday night and invited us to a totally different pre-party at the SLS. We stopped by to check it out and it was a disaster, and we promptly left. I add this in to say that not all "promoters" are created equal, and I am so thankful that we worked with Sam and didn't leave it up to fate / some random dude on the street to invite us to X,Y,Z once we got there. Will be recommending Sam to all of my friends!
