Understandably, a lot depends on the insurance company that Allan provides these services for, in my case it is Erie Insurance.Eire has been very responsive whenever I had issues - my car was totaled earlier this year and both Alan and the Eire team took care of things very quickly. After providing her with the exact same information as I had given the other companies, she said she could not provide a quote. Apparently Miller's does not have access to a wide variety of products since I later called another agency and again had no problem getting a quote using the same details. Maybe Kate didn't want my business or didn't want to be bothered on a Friday afternoon. But I found that other local agencies were much more helpful and had no problem finding suitable products for me.

For some unknown reason I stopped receiving my monthly bills for the home insurance. Unfortunately, I did not notice. I never received a late notice or any kind of reminder. I never received any notice of policy cancelation. I didn't realize the cancelation until I received notice from my Mortage company. Additionally, the mortgage Co. notified me of a $700.00 charge for the lapse in coverage. I suppose I was fortunate that there was no damage to the house while there was no coverage. After 9 years of being their insured, you'd think they could have made a 2-minute phone call to advise me. That's it for me, you decide if need an agency you can trust.
