On opening night I seem to remember it was a tuxedo and dress affair but a few weeks later it turned into Hackett tops and Reebok classics. Nowadays Talk has gone downhill. Its ok for a night out if you really must go out but not for anything else. The drinks are rather expensive. The staff are not that polite and the location is ridiculous. Just drive along Herne Bay seafront on a Friday or Saturday night to see the drunken masses spill into the road and adjacent Neptunes car park. If you want a night out and can get to Canterbury then spend a bit more and go to Studio 41, Baa Bars or the Venue. Talk Of The Town certainly inspires talk, but for all the wrong reasons.
