Above and beyond, and honest. Great value, friendly, and even fixed my washer sprayer that wasn't working on the driver side.

Speedy Glass

Ok so here's my experience with Speedy Glass here in the Soo…read more.. Yes they do a good job and they are fast. But I want to tell you a few things to Save you Money! If you are just having a Chip repaired, call your insurance company First, they will probably cover repairs for FREE if you have Comprehensive on your insurance. SECOND...and this is important! They WILL try to sell you a new air filter for your dash. They wanted to charge me something like $59.00 But where they Fucked up is he already had my glovebox open and showing me how dirty my filter was. (Now, I don't have proof that they planted that insane amount of debris or if it was really there but I NEVER asked him to open my glovebox, drop it down and expose a huge mess of dust and debris which he then proceeded to tell me that it had to be cleaned out and vacuumed and it would cost me $59.00 with labour. I was Pissed! I told him I didn't ask you to create that mess nor did I ask you to open my glovebox, I was there for a windshield repair. Since it was so dirty, I told him I'd let him do it for Half price. I probably could have got it done for Free since he took it apron himself and Manufacture the problem in the First place. So DO NOT LET THEM OPEN YOUR GLOVEBOX WITHOUT YOU PRESENT. THIRD..... do Not fall for the AQUAPEL Windshield treatment. They Also charge something like $59.00 for the treatment but if you but the wiper blades, the treatment is Half price. That's Still too high!!! I went on Amazon and the SAME AQUAPEL Treatment cost $39.00 For 10 Treatments. They are charging you $59.00 for ONE! That's Robbery in my opinion. So people,, do yourself a favour, Do your homework before going to Any Auto Glass repair shop. Chances are, your insurance will pay for it and if they Do, Don't let these people talk you into buying any extra Bullshit! You're welcome

My wife paid $399.24 for a battery and installation at Lou's Automotive in December 2025. The…read moreinvoice clearly says "4 year warranty on battery." On April 6, the battery would not hold a charge. My wife brought the car in. They tested it and told her the battery was bad. They ordered a replacement and set an appointment for April 10 to swap it under warranty. On April 10, my wife was at the shop. She told him she needs to drive to Toronto on April 18. He knew the deadline. He then changed his story. He said something might be draining the battery. He ran his checks and confirmed nothing was found. He also noticed some moisture on the driver side floor and black duct tape on the roof, but again, nothing was found that would cause the battery to fail. He put the battery on his charger for an hour and a half. The indicator stayed black. Then he told my wife she had to leave the car at his shop for the entire weekend so he could charge it. She asked if the warranty would be honored after that. He said he was not sure. He wanted the car for days with no guarantee of a replacement. She said no. We bought a battery charger at Walmart and charged it overnight at home. The car started fine that day, but the battery still will not hold a charge for long. That is exactly what a bad battery does. On Monday April 13, I called to explain what we did. He said he had no time until April 22. He knew my wife needed the car for April 18. He did not care. I told him I would leave a detailed review. He got upset and hung up on me. He promised a 4 year warranty in writing. The battery failed in 4 months. He ran his checks, found nothing wrong with the car, and still refused to honor the warranty. He knew about our travel deadline and did nothing to help. My wife paid for this battery, she brought the car in twice, and he treated her like that. Do not buy a battery here. Do not trust their warranty. Go somewhere else.
